I'm Such A Baby!

I'm such a baby! Basically the entire day I was shrunken and being carried around in a blanket like one. Just thinking about it makes me laugh. Of course, I was still recovering, both physically, and emotionally. I had kind of broken down on the floor and just needed some time to think. I finally peeked my eyes open and realized Herobrine happened to be looking down at me right at that time.

"Looks like the baby is awake." He said jokingly. I smiled too and tried to go back to sleep. It was kind of hard since I was pretty hungry by now. My tummy grumbled furiously and Herobrine heard it. "What? The baby need some milk?" He chuckled.

"No!" I laughed and squirmed in the blanket to get out. My cut wasn't hurting as badly, good. Herobrine took me out of the blanket and set me down on a chair next to him at the table since he had just sat down himself. I then slowly began to grow to my normal size as I sat up. Some food appeared in front of me and I began eating it slowly.

"Feeling better?" Herobrine asked me.

"A bit." I answered between bites of chicken.

"That's good. Will you be able to walk on your own now?" He asked with a witty smile.

"Nope." I said, already laughing.

"I never thought I'd hold you again after you were born." Herobrine said, laughing as well.

"You were there when I was born?" I asked.

"After, you were born.. Your Dad didn't like it when I teleported you into my arms one bit." Herobrine's chuckles softened as he said that. "Do you miss them?"

I looked down and almost whispered as I answered softly; "Yeah.."

"Hmmm... Makes sense. I'm gunna miss picking on your father. He always had the funniest angry face." Herobrine said as he tried to lighten the mood. It didn't really help. I didn't exactly cry, but I did go silent for a while as I ate the rest of my food. Herobrine just let me be quiet and didn't talk anymore.

"Can you shrink me again?" I asked when I was done eating and my tummy was no longer empty. I didn't add the, 'and hold me like a baby,' but I knew he understood anyways.

"You want to see the project room?" Herobrine asked me after I was wrapped in a blanket and in his arms again.

"Sure." I answered quietly. I remembered him mentioning something about taking obsidian there to someone but I had never seen it before. I guess I hadn't seen most of the castle, only the tournament room, training room, and bedroom. And halls, lots and LOTS of halls.

Herobrine carried me in one of his arms in a way so that I could see where we were going easier. The hallways we walked through opened up from the usual three by three block wide walkways, to ten by twelve block halls. Twelve blocks tall, ten blocks wide. The ceiling curved upward, adding the extra hight. Large arched doorframes showed massive rectangle rooms branching off them. This place was much bigger than I had originally thought. Herobrine turned at one of the doors and I saw a huge room full of redstone, obsidian, and other redstone related blocks.

"What is this?" I asked curiously.

"These are the preparations for my final stage. I have already completed stages one and two. Stage three will lead us to a triumphant victory and I will finally rule this reality." He answered with an evil side I hadn't missed. I just stared as pistons pushed blocks around like an automatic machine. The largest redstone machine in the center with all the obsidian looked like it was still being worked out like they weren't entirely sure how to finish it.

"What's the big one in the middle?" I asked.

"Oh, that? It's just a little something I am still working on. I am hoping it will help us win." He answered plainly.

"Oh." I said in response. Herobrine quickly left the room and began looking at other large rooms where mobs of all kinds worked. There were wheat farms, potato farms, carrot farms, animal farms, etc. He went by making sure all was going smoothly. It was probably his daily routine. I was always too busy training to see what he ever did.

"Uumm.. Uncle Brine?" I asked, still not used to calling him that.

"Yeah?"

"Did I win the tournament?"

Herobrine chuckled and answered; "I'm not sure if you would call that a win. Technically I was the one who beat Audrey. Would that mean I won?" He said with a smile.

"No fair.. Judges can't compete." I joked, putting on a fake pouty face. Herobrine just smiled.

"Weellll... I'll have to talk to the others about that one." He said. "I'm just glad that no one but Audrey died. You were pretty close though." Herobrine continued walking around from room to room as I tried to keep myself quiet. I knew my body needed rest but I wanted to see everything. The day must have been close to ending when Herobrine finally walked, thankfully not teleported because that could have made me sicker, to my room and put me on my bed. I crawled under the covers before I grew to my original size again.

"Goodnight.." I whispered to Herobrine before he teleported away and I fell asleep easily.

A few days passed with the same routine of Herobrine carrying me around like a baby as I recovered. It eventually got a little tiring being carried everywhere, but I enjoyed seeing the castle, which seemed to grow every day. And I was still a bit too hurt to walk around for very long on my own.

As we walked around I learned that this place wasn't just some castle, but a battle fortress ready to defend itself at any moment. The many winding hallways were made to confuse anyone new to the castle. Only Herobrine and the mobs seemed to know the place well enough to walk around it normally. Herobrine also showed me that if people did intrude, the castle was practically a series of traps just disguised as halls and walls that could be triggered if the place was ever under attack. It was amazingly terrifying to think about. It was obvious with all the traps that this was a place people often attacked. Or, it was a place with secrets and plans no one should know about. It was obviously both.

By the end of the fourth day, I was feeling almost perfect. Just a little soreness was left. That, and a huge scar between my shoulder and chest where I had been stabbed. I also had a couple scars on my arms and one on my chin after that battle. And I couldn't forget that painful hole in my left arm from that arrow. I thought they just made me look tougher, especially the one on my chin. And by the fifth day I was able to walk around normally again. Yea!!!
