Chapter 135
[Ace P.O.V.]
"You're being really annoying red doggy. Why can't you just die peacefully?"
"Shut up, you scoundrel. I'll be killing you shortly, so stop moving around."
I sensed something, and we both looked in that direction at the same time. In a secluded part of Marineford are standing two people. Tani and Admiral Fujitora. But Tani seems to be in trouble as five meteors are falling towards him. Akainu suddenly stood in between them and me.
"Don't think about helping your crewmate. You'll soon follow him to hell."
I smirked.
"I'm not worried about that guy. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I never managed to put a scratch on that guy in our recent spars. No matter how big the attack was. The only one who can still beat him up is Ken."
"That just means that all of you are weak."
He turned his fists into magma and enveloped it in Haki. I also used haki, but I didn't use my fruit on my fists. When the 5 meteors crashed into the ground and created a massive explosion, Akainu immediately came running towards me. I also ran towards him. I used Soru and my fruit to propel myself forward faster. We met each other in the middle, and we sent our fists flying forward.
We hit each other in the face, and I gritted my teeth. I didn't move back an inch, and he also remained in the same spot. The ground around us started being destroyed by the force of our punches. We immediately threw our fist forward again, and this time we hit each other in the ribs. We glared at each other and kept hitting each other without stop. It was a dual exchange every time.
"Fall down already!" screamed Akainu
"You'll be dead before that ever happens!" I screamed back
I started using my Devil Fruit in my punches, which turned everything behind me in fire. The same thing happened behind Akainu as his Devil Fruit also affected everything behind him as well.
'This is such a stupid fight. Ken will definitely chew me out if he saw me taking hits head-on. But I'm fighting with my pride on the line, so I can't back off. And I know that Akainu is thinking the same.'
"AAAACEEEE!"
"AKAAAINUU!"
We both screamed as we kept hitting each other.
[Urouge P.O.V.]
I'm on the ground with my arms protecting my head while a Vice-Admiral is beating me up. He has already been doing this nonstop for 10 minutes. The beating suddenly stopped, and as I slowly moved my arms from my face, I saw the tired face of the Vice-Admiral whose name I don't know. I immediately kicked him away.
'Good, he has become quite tired since he has been hitting me with haki for 10 minutes straight without stopping. I can't let this chance go, so I need to defeat him before he regains his stamina.'
I stood up from the ground and immediately ran towards him. He looked surprised that I was completely fine. I took advantage of him being distracted and appeared right in front of him. I used all my power and hit him with an uppercut while using haki.
I heard something shatter and he flew into the air. When he started falling down, I caught him by his collar with both my hands before he hit the ground. I could see the anger in his eyes as his jaw is dangling around. He grabbed both of my wrists and tried to force my hands off of him. But I just responded by smashing my knee in his face. I heard a loud crunch which is probably his nose that I just destroyed.
I let go of him making him, making him fall face-first on the ground. I put both of my palms together as I started a prayer for him. He looked up at me with anger clearly visible in his eyes. If he could, he would be gritting his teeth.
"May your soul rest in peace."
I quickly finished him up by stomping on his head. I then looked at my body which is the same size as it has always been. With the training of Captain, I can take absorb a lot more power while staying the same size. This means that my speed won't be affected anymore. And this also means that no one will realize that I have a Devil Fruit unless they're strong enough to make my size increase.
'Captain sure is awesome. I should quickly use this power before the time is up.'
[Brook P.O.V.]
I trust my sword forward creating a compressed ball of air that took down multiple opponents. I suddenly got surrounded by more marines, but no one dared to move forward.
"Yohoho, are you guys really scared of one person?"
"What do you mean, person!? You're a fricking skeleton!" screamed a marine soldier
With one move of my sword, I took away his ability to speak as his head flew into the air.
"Don't worry, we'll all be skeleton brothers soon."
They had terrified looks on their faces as they all immediately ran away.
'Oops, I scared them too much. I guess I'll have to chase them now.'
As I was about to run after them, I got blocked by a tall guy who is releasing immense pressure. As I saw who stood in front of me I immediately looked around for someone. When I finally spotted the one I was searching for, I was shocked. Shiryu is unconscious on the ground with cuts all over his body, and he is bleeding a lot. While this guy doesn't seem to have even a scratch.
"Why do you look so surprised? He was pretty good, but there is no way that he is at the Admiral level."
'This is bad. Admiral Ryokugyu isn't someone I can fight against.'
"You seem capable so let's fight." said Ryokugyu
He suddenly ran towards me with his sword. He slashed down towards me.
I held my cane sword backward and blocked his strike. His sword and arm got covered in ice which made him jump back.
"What kind of trick is this? Aokiji should be the only one to be able to create ice like this."
"It's only obvious that you wouldn't understand. This isn't something from this world after all."
"Huh?"
"This is the Chill of the Underworld!"
I put all my power in one strike which I sent his way. I immediately disappeared from my place and ran towards Shiryu as I saw marine soldiers approaching him.
"Ey, come back here!" screamed Ryokugyu as he deflected my sword strike
I sped up even more and appeared beside Shiryu. I immediately took care of the approaching marines. I squatted down and checked if he was still alive. After I breathed a sigh of relief as he is still alive, I quickly hid something in his pocket.
Admiral Ryokugyu appeared in front of us and send a sword strike towards us. I quickly stood in front of Shiryu and intercepted the sword strike. But I quickly realized that I wouldn't be able to hold on for long.
'This is bad, please hurry up!'
As I was praying, I suddenly sensed something behind and the look on Ryokugyu's face confirmed it.
"Thank you, Robert."
"It's nothing, let me know if you need help and be careful."
I nodded as I sensed the two presence behind me disappear. I immediately jumped to the side and let the sword strike fly by me.
"Tsk, I was too careless. But props to you for sacrificing yourself for your crewmate. I guess even pirates know what comradery is."
I put my sword in front of me and got into a fighting stance.
"I'll make sure to keep you here till Ken is done."
"You look really confident for someone who is nothing but bones."
"You look pretty confident for someone who is scared of death."
We both smiled and ran towards each other with the intent to kill.
