Chapter 151

"Where am I?" asked Vlad as he sat up. He looked around confused till he spotted Ken's glare and immediately knew where he was. Vlad tried to jump out of bed but got pulled back by the handcuffs holding him in place.

"Don't even try to get away. Those are Seastone handcuffs, so you will not be able to escape," said Ken.

"Why are you doing this to me? I am not your enemy."

"Not my enemy? Scamming me with a fake technique and then bringing a powerful person to my island. That sounds like something an enemy would do. But just stay still; Laffitte will come and pay you a visit in a second."

"No, anyone but him! Please forgive me, Ken! I did not have any other choice! I'll give and tell you anything you want, just please have Laffitte stay away!" screamed Vlad with a horrified face.

Ken stood up with his chest bandaged and walked towards Vlad. He sat down next to him on a chair. "Why was he after you? If you tell me the truth, I will not have Laffitte pay you a visit."

Vlad immediately started talking. "I only know that he wanted to get some kind of key from me. He called it the Final Key. But I don't know what he is talking about. He said that it is in my body, but I have never put any key in my body."

"Deuce, check his body for this supposed key."

Deuce walked to Vlad and placed his on his stomach, a blue light shone out of his hand, and the next second, Deuce had a surprised look on his face. "There really is something hidden in his body, but I will have to do an operation to get it out."

"No way! Don't touch my body!" screamed Vlad.

"Thunk." Ken hit Vlad's forehear with Shusui's hilt, knocking him out.

"What are you doing! He is still healing!" screamed Deuce.

"He told me that he will give and tell me anything I want, so I will be taking that key. Quickly take it out before he wakes up."

"Tsk, you are such a nice friend."

Ken just smiled at Deuce's comment and said, "I don't have friends."

"Go to your room and rest. I don't want to see your ugly mug around here."

Ken stood in a salute pose and said, "Yes, sir!" He turned around and walked out of Deuce's office. Sabo also left quickly afterward, leaving Deuce alone with an unconscious Vlad. But instead of Deuce getting his equipment to start the surgery, he grabbed a book from his bookcase called Surgery for Dummies.

Ken is talking with Mihawk about the New Sword he acquired.

"This is indeed one of the Supreme Grade Swords, Shodai Kitetsu. There are three Kitetsu swords. A Grade Sword called Sandai Kitetsu, which is in Zoro's possession, a Great Grade Sword called Nidai Kitetsu, and lastly, the Supreme Grade Sword Shodai Kitetsu. These three swords are all cursed, and the Shodai Kitetsu is equal to my Yoru. But unlike my Yoru, the Shodai Kitetsu isn't permanently hardened. But I have never heard of a rank beyond Supreme Grade Swords. Not even in fairy tales."

"It definitely is a strong weapon. Especially with its curse ability. What do you think I should do with it?"

"I don't think you will use any sword other than Shusui, so I would sell it if I were you, but you don't need any money, and I doubt that anyone would dare to buy a stolen sword from one of the 5 Elders. The only choice you have now is to use it as a trophy."

"Sigh, at least I managed to weaken them. So, how is Zoro doing?"

"Better than expected. He doesn't complain, and he has some talent. If the rest of the crew managed to match him, they will be a strong pirate crew. But I guess compared to you, they're just so so."

"Hahaha, well, I did put the bar really high. But anyway, do you want to have a spar?"

"I haven't had a spar for a long time, so why not," said Mihawk as he grabbed Yoru from behind his back. Ken strapped Shodai Kitetsu to the back of his back so that no one could steal it and unsheathed Shusui.

What followed was destruction.

A day later, Ken was sitting on his throne with a golden key in his hand. The key was smaller than his palm and had the World Government Logo on top. Ken was fiddling around with it while thinking what this key could be used for. Vlad called it the Final Key, so there must be more of these keys. And the World Government presumably already has all of them.

'I haven't read anything about this key in the manga. Which is weird since they seem to really want this key. This might mean that it was not really that important in the story. But one of the 5 Elders would not go if it was not that important. This key might also be the reason why they went after Vlad's family. Then they will definitely be coming for me, but with the 5 of them the next time.'

"Urgh, screw you, Vlad," Ken said out loud.

"Captain seems frustrated, is there something I can help you with?" asked Mura, who is hiding in the shadows.

"Thank you, but this is not something that you can help out with. I need information that only a handful of people know."

"I heard that there is a mermaid in Fish-Man island who is a fortune teller. Apparently, she has never been wrong. Maybe you can have her see the future of that key."

"Shyarly, huh. I did kill her half brother, so I doubt that she would help me out."

"Why am I not even surprised that you manage to get everyone angry at you."

"Hahaha, shit just happened. But I guess that I will ask Laffitte to take care of it. Neptune will also be able to help out. Thank you for the suggestion, Mura."

"I am happy to have been of help to you, Captain."

"I should also have Laffitte ask if Mura will ever get married. I can't just let her be single for her entire life," mumbled Ken to himself.

"Captain!"

"Hahaha, well, you need to leave one day. We won't stay a Pirate Crew forever. Will you still follow me around after I have a wife and kids? Will they have to call you auntie Mura the creep."

She turned completely quiet.

"I will think about it. But as long as you are still my Captain, I won't leave your side."

"It is good to know that I don't have to worry about my back with you behind me."

"Thank you for the praise, Captain."
