Chapter 4

"Umm... Do you know what my dad would want to talk about?" Andrea asked Lester,

It took almost a minute for Lester to respond. Though he knew the answer, he decided to lie,

"I have no idea," 

Andrea was disappointed because she thought that since Lester is close to her father, he'd know what her dad would want to talk about. She is not prepared to talk to her dad because of what happened yesterday. Imagining her dad scolding her about it is making her nervous from head to toe. Lester knew that Andrea is nervous so he decided to talk,

"Relax, no father would ever eat their daughter for having a suitor," Andrea blushed and answered,

"Who said that I have a suitor?!" Lester laughed because of the view he's seeing, Andrea. What others may see is Andrea denying things but for Lester, he sees a feisty kitty who's fighting for food. 

Andrea felt relax now and Lester felt good about that. And they waited until they arrived to the camp. She stepped down the car while Lester is holding the door for her, and she saw and heard trainees who are talking in the background,

"Is the Major General that gentleman?" says the other,

"Wow, I've never seen him beside a woman before," says another

"Hush, that's the General's daughter pea brain ," says the other

Andrea felt shocked to know that, in her thoughts

"Lester has never been with a girl before? He's young, handsome and outstanding, how come he's never been with a girl?"

Andrea run wild until she actually thought of the last idea she should eve think of,

"Or maybe... He's... Gay?"

Andrea giggled for a bit, Lester saw this and asked her,

"What are you laughing about?"

"Nothing, I just thought of the most funny idea in the world,"  Andrea answered

"And what is that?" Lester asked,

"Since people say that you've never been with a girl..." Lester was surprised about what she said and waited for Andrea to finish he answer,

"... Could it be that... Major General is... Into males?"

Lester froze and Andrea saw Lester's reaction, which lead her to a wrong conclusion. Andrea started laughing, Lester pulled her into a tent and pushed her against a pole,

"You dare think I'm gay? Would you like me to prove to you my manhood?" Andrea blushed with what he said and even more when he blew near her neck,

"Andrea, don't jump too quickly on such conclusion, you're making me crave. By the way, you smell nice," Andrea's eyes widened and pushed Lester away,

"L-Lester! Let's just go to my dad," Lester gave out a smirk and stepped out the tent, Andrea followed him and went to her dad's quarters. On the way there, both of them are silent, but there's a big difference on their facial expressions. Andrea looks like embarrassed and her cheeks are blushing while Lester's looks are calm with a smile on his face.

They've arrived at her dad's quarters, Lester knocked and opened the door, 

"General, your daughter is here," 

Andrea walked inside only to see her dad angry, 

"Lester, you may stay outside first," the General ordered, Lester walked out and shut the door,

"Andrea, you asked me yesterday to go out with Edward yesterday, and I agreed, this morning, I opened the news only to find out  that you are in he news! Andrea, do you know what pressure your grandpa will go through if he learns this? Although our family is tied with their family, I will not allow you to marry into such a family," her dad scolded her and Andrea explained,

"Dad, I did not expect that would happen, I mean we've been friends for ever since," 

"And I didn't know that the Tang family would raise a son like him, and that's why I never knew his existence since you introduced him to me, because he is a bastard of his father, but that is not the reason why I don't want you near him. I have more reasons as to why I don't want you near him and why I had to ask Major General Gu to watch over you. Please Andrea, just listen to me and never see that boy again," Her dad explained,

"Although I cannot guarantee that I won't ever see him again because of school, I promise that I won't get near him," Andrea said with a long face,

"Very well child, tell Major General Gu to come here and wait outside the door,"

Andrea followed her dad's instruction and waited, meanwhile, inside the room, General Cho and Major General Gu are having a serious conversation,

"You have to know how the Tang family is related to the terrorists, while keeping Andrea safe," the General said,

"Don't worry David, I'll keep an eye on her, however, I need to keep her beside me wherever I go, and I need to stay beside her wherever she goes. Can I ask for your approval of me staying in her place?" Lester asked the General,

"Of course, that is an even better than having my daughter taken without your knowledge, also, don't forget to report to me once you find something suspicious," the General replied,

"Of course," Lester replied,

The General dismissed him and walked outside. There he saw Andrea sitting on the floor, asleep, Lester was pissed off to see this, in his thoughts,

"Damn, how could she put her guard down when she's in a place surrounded by men?!" 

He carried her to the car and drove off to her place. While on their way, Andrea woke up,

"Oh, Lester what happened? What did my dad say to you?" Andrea asked,

"Before asking me, may I ask why you slept sitting down on the floor in a place surrounded by men? Do you know how risky that is? Not everyone in the camp knows that you are the General's daughter, you should not put you guard down in a place like that ever again," Lester replied furiously,

Andrea's face was sad and lowered her head, 

"I'm sorry, it won't happen again," she replied,

Lester saw the looks on her face and spoke,

"Don't feel sad, I'm not mad at you. But you have to remember that you can only put your guard down when you're with me, understand?" 

Andrea was happy to hear that, she nodded and spoke,

"I understand uncle," 

Lester was furious and spoke,

"DON'T CALL ME UNCLE!" 

Andrea surprised and spoke,

"Okay Lester," 

"Good," Lester replied in a satisfied voice,

*In Lester's thoughts*                                                                                                                                   "It's not like I'm THAT old, plus we're not blood relatives, humph!"

They arrived at Andrea's place and Andrea remembered her question earlier, 

"Oh right, what did my dad told you?" Andrea asked,

Lester moved closer to her and spoke "Nothing much, he just told me to keep and eye on you and allowed me to stay with you in your place I hope you don't mind," he said with a smirk on his face,

Andrea was blushed, not only because of what he said but also the distance between them. Andrea just froze and was not bale to respond,

"Come on, let's go inside, or.." Lester moved closer to her ears and whispered,                      "Do you prefer being carried by me?" Andrea moved away from him,

"wh-who would want t-to be carried b-by you? You JERK!" Andrea answered embarrassed, Lester then smirked and spoke,

"So I am a jerk, I'll show what a jerk is," Lester lifted Andrea and carried her inside to her room while Andrea is resisting and shouting,

"Let me go you jerk!" 

Lester throw her into her bed and crawled on top of her, 

"D-Don't come closer," Andrea said while shivering,

"Oh but you're blushing and your body is saying 'don't stop'," Lester said and blew on her ear,

"Take back what you said earlier and I might let you go," Lester added,

"Y-You're not a jerk, I'm sorry, I won't say it again," Andrea said,

"Good," Lester crawled back, stood up, he tighten up his necktie and smirked. He turned around and left the room. Andrea sat down and said quietly, 

"Jerk,"
