In the continent of Chang'an humans had lived as livestock and slaves to the Primordial Beasts. These beasts were ferocious, bloodthirsty and overwhelmingly powerful, but even so, the humans managed to prevail in the face of despair.

As the human race grew stronger the Primordial Beasts fought back with relentless fierceness, rousing beast hordes to engage in frenzied battles over the land. 

Every single child on the continent was taught martial arts for the sake of fighting these Primordial Beasts, yet many of them were sent straight to their death.

In this world filled with constant battle, a young boy was born. This young boy was hoping to become the most outstanding cultivator, but who would have thought that his talent was so poor that he could not even cultivate? 

As the boy was filled with despair over his unfortunate situation, a life changing event occurred which would forever leave a scar in his mind, pushing him to transcend his limits and grow to become a legend.

Condemning the Heavens

Xue Wei was aware that the middle-aged ghost had realized that cultivating was possible. 


He had no intention of hiding it from him. Although the ghost had been rather profit minded, he had helped them, and had not done anything to cause trouble, so it was only natural that Xue Wei also repaid the kindness somehow. 


Also, the jade tablet that the middle-aged ghost had been given was already used up. It could not impart the cultivation technique into another ghost's mind. 


Unless the middle-aged ghost found another way to copy the knowledge within his mind, then it would be impossible to spread the cultivation technique to others. 


The jade tablets were an item of the living world. They did not exist in the Ghost Realm, and could only be taken out by Xue Wei. 


The middle-aged ghost did not mind it either. Naturally he would benefit more if he was capable of selling the method, but without the Marrow-Cleansing Pills, the cultivation technique had proven to be useless.
