In the continent of Chang'an humans had lived as livestock and slaves to the Primordial Beasts. These beasts were ferocious, bloodthirsty and overwhelmingly powerful, but even so, the humans managed to prevail in the face of despair.

As the human race grew stronger the Primordial Beasts fought back with relentless fierceness, rousing beast hordes to engage in frenzied battles over the land. 

Every single child on the continent was taught martial arts for the sake of fighting these Primordial Beasts, yet many of them were sent straight to their death.

In this world filled with constant battle, a young boy was born. This young boy was hoping to become the most outstanding cultivator, but who would have thought that his talent was so poor that he could not even cultivate? 

As the boy was filled with despair over his unfortunate situation, a life changing event occurred which would forever leave a scar in his mind, pushing him to transcend his limits and grow to become a legend.

Condemning the Heavens

"You can." Bai Tianyi looked at Xue Wei with a bit of a smile. "However, this is the stone that keeps the Hailong in place. As soon as you remove it, the formation will shatter. We might want to make some quick preparations first." 


Xue Wei understood his point right away, and he did not grasp the gem immediately. 


"Everyone, step back. If possible, try to find a place where the Hailong can't reach you, a cave or something would be most suitable." Xue Wei quickly called out. 


They were in a hurry to get the Hailong away so that they could cross the strait, but they were also very well aware that no matter which option they picked, there would be risks involved. 


Bai Tianyi, Hei Gou, and Ling Xiao retreated backward and hid underneath a few stones that had been overturned during their previous havoc. If the dragon really wished to cause damage, these stones could not protect them, but hopefully, they would be enough to block the dragon's sight, and make him not care about them. 


Taking a Deep Breath
