Resolute (2/3)

The beheading mixed with the scorching breath flashed by as if time froze. And the laughter and anger of the pirates were frozen on their faces.

In the middle of the day, a bitterly cold wind blew through, blowing away the heat and also the group of pirates.

Their bodies were like the crushed rock that had been weathered for centuries, gently blowing and fading into this shiny cloud.

"What a terrifying sword technique, it makes people tremble and fear!" Nijo took a deep breath of praise.

"I didn't get many keys, so it's up to you to do the rest." Ember casually tossed a set of keys into Nijo's arms, "Remember, I've never been to Freezing Hell before."

"Of course, Chief Jailer-dono is a burning flame, so how could he come to suffer in Freezing Hell?" Nijo took the key and walked deeper into the snow with his heart racing, "So, the one who liberates all the pirates will be me, the King of Freezing Hell, Nijo!"

Watching Nijo go far away, Ember whispered to himself, "Running so fast, are you worried I'll kill you?"

"But yes, those who know too much have never lived long, and when the riots in the first three levels die down, and the chaos of Freezing Hell begins, you'll be worthless!"

"Before I do, I'd better get back up there!"

Ember's steps were steady and robust, seemingly slow, but he had quickly reached the entrance.

The door to Blazing Hell pushed open, and within a few steps, Ember spotted a group of four men standing a short distance away from Longinus.

Jarvis asked with a complicated expression, "Ember, tell me, why?"

On the other hand, Magellan was relatively much more excited, "Ember, you bastard, what have you been doing in Freezing Hell?"

Embers' indifferent gaze swept over the four and finally rested on Longinus.

"Looks like you all already know that! I'm not sure why the situation is like this, but I guess I'm losing to you, right? Marine hero, Ensign Longinus!"

"Even without me, your plot would not have succeeded, and justice will triumph over evil in the end!" Longinus said on his lips, but in his mind, he thought, "In the original world timeline, did he also defect because things were exposed?"

"I don't know if he'll be able to escape this time. Under the siege of the Admiral-level Jarvis and three other fighters of the same level, I'd like to re-evaluate his potential if he still manages to escape!"

"What is justice? The will of the strong is justice!" There were cold words from Ember under the mask.

"It's irredeemable, Ember, you're no different from those evil pirates now!" Magellan rebuked angrily.

"Childish and ridiculous!" Ember said indifferently, turning to the side to watch the show and said, "Shiryu, I know you're not interested in Chief Warden's position, but I'm telling you that your good days will come to an end when Magellan becomes the Chief Warden."

"Really? Then we'll talk about it then!" Shiryu bit into his cigar, not caring.

At this point, the long-silent Jarvis said, "Ember, if you're willing to admit your mistake and be punished, I'll consider letting you come back and start over."

"Chief, this ..." shouted Magellan incredulously.

Jarvis raised the back of his hand and motioned for Magellan to be quiet for a moment before saying, "The death of the last batch of those pirates isn't that big of a deal. Your truly atrocious act is to turn your sights on your people, and if you're turning to Magellan ..."

"Don't say it!" Ember interrupted indifferently, "Even if it means death, I will not bow to the weak!"

"Who are you calling a weakling, asshole?"

"Of course, it's some loser who will sooner or later drown in the toilet!"

"You, you, you ..." Magellan was nearly out of breath.

"Looks like there's nothing left to say, Ember, you made a bad choice!" Jarvis took in the detailed look on his face, and a powerful aura began to rise.

"I will lose the battle, but the speed, it's hard to say!" Ember crushed the ground with a single foot and fell towards Freezing Hell below while throwing dozens of keys on his body with precision towards the prison of Blazing Hell.

"Trying to use the rioting prisoners to get us to divide up some of our battle force?" Longinus's Kenbunshoku Haki was focused on Ember at all times, and just by seeing Ember's raised hand movement, he had already predicted his opponent's next move.

"While I could have stopped all those keys, ... that's what I was meant to do!" Longinus moved a little slower for a moment, intercepting only a small portion of the keys, "If I can't stop any of them, it doesn't fit with my image of being proficient in Kenbunshoku, but now, it's barely worth it!"

In a flash of flame, those keys had flown to the major cells.

"Damn, I'm still one step behind!" Longinus said with fake frustration.

"I was careless!" Jarvis blamed himself.

Magellan, on the other hand, looked at the giant hole in the ground in horror, "Instead of flying up into the sky, Ember went deeper. He must be planning on releasing the fifth or even sixth level prisoners to create an opportunity for himself. We must hurry to stop him!"

After saying that, Magellan had jumped down through the hole.

Jarvis hesitated slightly, because, already from the surrounding cells came the sinister laugh of pirates.

"Chief Warden Jarvis, it's important to keep Eternal Hell safe, so leave this place to me!" Longinus said in due course.

"Trust me. I can still handle these pirates!"

Jarvis took a deep breath and no longer hesitated, "Okay, I'll leave this place to you. Shiryu, we'll go together."

After saying that, Jarvis stamped hard on the ground, destroying the hole enough to accommodate his body before pulling Shiryu down with a handful of jumps.

"It's really ... everything I want is going in that direction!" Longinus looked around this burning inferno and sighed, "I guess I'll have to hurry up. After all, there are some things that only the dead can know!"

Soon, a guard came running for instructions.

"Sir, those pirates are outnumbered, and we're already a bit overwhelmed!"

"You take the Warden Beast with you to guard the door to the death and don't spare any of the pirates!"

"What? Sir, are you ... going to take on those pirates by yourself? No, it's just too dangerous, let us stay here and help you!" The guard advised with agitation.

"It's not me who's in danger. It's those pirates!" Longinus' calm demeanor did calm the panicked guards down a bit, "Besides, it's easy to distract me if you stay here, so if you want to help me, help me secure the gate to Starvation Hell to the death, and I will sabotage the elevator switch, by the way, understand?"

Hearing that Longinus was even going to destroy the lift, the guards thought that Longinus was planning to trap those pirates here for a while with his own life, and cried out with tears in their eyes, "I understand, we will not let your sacrifice be in vain!"
