Longinus vs. Ember (1/3)

"You ... are Longinus? You didn't go with Magellan and the others to suppress Eternal Hell?" Nijo's face was somewhat frightened, he was arguably the one in the prison who was most aware of Longinus's power, and he could still feel the despair of the puppet who had Mane Mane no Mi being spiked by Tobu Shigan!

And this was the man who had almost entirely eradicated the puppet he controlled, forcing them to take direct action.

This guy is a monster on the same level as Magellan and Ember!

"By the looks of you, you don't seem to be a stranger to me, so it looks like you're the pirate who worked with Ember, right?" Longinus said with a smile, but his feet were approaching.

"Stop right there and stay away from me!" Nijo let out a scream as if he was as helpless as a weak girl cornered by a creepy uncle.

"Captain Nijo, what's the matter with you? This guy is just a man even if he's strong!" The pirate next to him was puzzled.

"That's right, but now I have so many powerful men, they're not even comparable to those weak puppets from before!" The reminded Nijo seemed to have found his strength, making a bold and colorful threat.

"Longinus, if you let us go now, I can still pretend that nothing has happened. Otherwise, don't blame me for killing you!"

"With these scavengers? I'd like to see you go on a killing spree." Longinus didn't mind at all as he continued to press forward, and then, with an instant burst of extreme speed, he went on a killing spree like a tiger entering a herd of sheep.

While most of these pirates have bounties of over 100 million berries, that was a long time ago, and now they are nothing more than cowardly, physically wasted losers who are no more of a threat to Longinus than Felix was even a year ago.

In terms of speed, a prisoner who had just escaped from Freezing Hell and hadn't even gotten his blood flowing was naturally no match for Longinus, who was killed with a single punch without even seeing a person.

As for the attacks, the blade hidden between Longinus' fingers could easily cut through even steel, and when it landed on those pirates, it naturally shattered their defenses with ease.

But in a split second, these pirates were already dead and wounded.

"Steady! We can win!" With sweat seeping from Nijo's head, how do you fight an enemy so fast that you can't see them? Also, are all of his men made of paper? If they touch each other, they'll end up dead or injured.

"He killed almost all of the pirates in Blazing Hell. After fighting for so long, he should be almost at the bottom of his stamina. So why is he still as strong as a monster?"

Nijo looked at the ground full of mutilated corpses with a frightened face, and a sudden flash of light flashed through his brain. He suddenly realized, "I see, he must have reached the end of his strength. And to conserve his energy, he has adopted this most simple and effective method of attack, so every attack he makes is a sure kill."

Thinking of this, Nijo shouted out with renewed confidence, "As long as we persevere, the final victory will belong to us!"

At the other man's whiney cry, Longinus smiled wryly.

Physical exhaustion, non-existent!

With a steady flow of blood energy pouring into his body, he was in better shape than ever.

Eventually, as long as he kept killing, he was perfectly capable of perpetual infinite fighting like a perpetual motion machine.

The only thing restricting him was his mental state. However, his soul was incomparably strong, not to mention this little bit of time, even a ten-day, the ten-night battle wouldn't be much of a problem for him.

...

"Ember! Get your ass back here!" A roar suddenly came from the turbulent Eternal Hell.

"Hahahahaha! Chief Warden Jarvis, make a choice, arrest me, or suppress this band of sea pirates that even the World Government fears? They're at their lowest state, and if you miss this one, you won't have such a good chance!" Perhaps the prolonged suppression had been released, but Ember changed his indifferent posture and laughed freely and wildly.

This decision wasn't hard to make. Although Jarvis and his men were equally proficient in Geppo, they naturally couldn't match the sky's master, the Pteranodon, when it came to flying speed.

On one side is Ember, who is far faster than their side, and on the other is the prisoners, who are in rock bottom condition.

Thus, Jarvis quickly made his choice.

"Ember, you're tough enough! Pray that it never falls into my hands!"

"Don't worry. It won't be that day!"

With a flurry of wings, Ember directly crashed into the top level of the Eternal Hell and rushed to the upper level of Freezing Hell.

"Although Eternal Hell is full of long-established sea pirates, those people aren't at their peak after all, and they can't stop Jarvis and the others for too long, so I have to escape as soon as possible." A shade flashed in the eyes of Ember in his Pteranodon form, "Only, before that, take care of that marine who ruined my life!"

Boom!

Blazing Hell's ground floor shattered violently, and the large, athletic bird flew up on a cold wind.

At this moment, the battle in Blazing Hell was nearing its end, with no more than five people surviving in the field.

Longinus, who noticed the change of heart, stopped his killing and looked with interest at the Pteranodon hovering above, "I can't believe you were allowed to escape, but you seem to be lucky."

"But you've had a lot of bad luck!"

At that moment, the paralyzed Nijo crawled over to Ember, "Ember, take me with you and leave, this guy is simply a monster, no, no, he's the devil!"

With a disgusted glance at the Nijo on the ground, Ember waved his wings and slashed out several speeding blades of wind, directly cutting Nijo, who came to his aid, into bloody scraps.

"At any rate, you're just killing a partner you've been working with for a while. You're ruthless!"

"Huh? I don't have time for your bullshit, so let me send you to real hell next!" Saying that Ember ignited with scorching flames all over, like a phoenix reborn from a bath of fire, swooping down from midair.

Longinus looked grave, and his clenched right fist blossomed with a milky white glow as if bathed in warm sunlight, slicing through a radiant track of light to meet it.

Boom!

The moment the right fist collided with the bird's head, it blossomed into a permanent display of light, a layer of ripples rippling through the air, the waves of assertion sweeping the sea of fire below into the surroundings, causing the few remaining pirates to let out heart-rending cries.

Longinus only felt the bone-shattering pain in his right fist that was being burned by the flame cone, and almost screamed out in pain, not from the materialized flame, but his opponent's conviction.

However, Ember was even worse, as the vast body was blown away by a punch, and after crashing into a wall, it was buried directly in the rubble.
