The Evil King's Plan (3/3)

"Poneglyph?"

"Ancient weapons?"

Two exclamations with different meanings sounded almost simultaneously.

Drake looked at the trance-disoriented Cobra before speaking up and asking, "Is it the ancient weapon that is rumored to have the power to destroy the world and is crowned with the title of God?"

"That's it." Longinus nodded, appreciative, "I didn't think you knew that at a young age."

"While you were away, Sensei, I was able to catch up on some knowledge at the headquarters." Drake stroked the back of his head, embarrassed.

"Sensei, but would anyone really believe such news?"

"I don't need others to believe it either, it was already just an excuse that would allow me to take on the Evil King."

"But, but ..." said Drake with an anxious face, "If the government finds out that you're using this kind of thing as an excuse, even with your potential as a Sensei, you'll definitely be severely punished, right! "

"Where can you care about that now?" Longinus shook his head, his words filled with sincerity, "It is better for me alone to be punished than for millions of people to suffer."

"Sensei, let me do this kind of thing, even if it's found out, maybe the government will just think it's just child's nonsense!" Drake said agitatedly.

"The government wouldn't be so benevolent ..." laughed Longinus, "Rather me, I'm somewhat of a reputation in the Marine."

"Even if I'm found out, the government won't put me to death for spreading a false rumor."

"But that would ruin all your future in the Marine, sensei!"

"It won't ..." said Cobra with a sudden look of determination, "Since fake news is easy to find out, just make this thing true!"

"Seriously?"

"Hoo!" Cobra let out a cloudy breath and said in a deep voice, "Because, indeed, Alabasta has information on Poneglyph and ancient weapons!"

"King Cobra, do you know what you're talking about?" Longinus showed shock and solemnity at the right time.

"I have no need to hide in front of Commodore Longinus."

"In fact, the Nefertari family was originally one of the twenty kings who pacified the world, or in today's parlance, one of the world's noble Celestial Dragons!"

"The Celestial Dragons? King Cobra you are even a Celestial Dragon?" Drake asked incredulously.

"The ancestors of our Nefertari family gave up the opportunity to stay in the Holy Land, so I am not a Celestial Dragon." Cobra shook his head and said, "I'm only saying this to tell you that that piece of historical text is what was left behind by that original ancestor."

"On it, there are even records of ancient soldiers powerful enough to destroy the world ..."

"King Cobra, stop it," Longinus interrupted directly, "This is not the kind of information that I, a marine, should know."

"I get it!" Cobra looked at Longinus with increasing admiration and thought to himself, "Even this kind of power that is enough to change the world can remain unmoved, Commodore Longinus is truly the embodiment of justice!"

"What should we do now, Sensei?"

"Let's say that the Evil King has peeked intoPoneglyph and ancient weapons, but don't mention Alabasta, lest Alabasta be targeted by others after this matter is over." Longinus calmly analyzed, "Just make it vague and the government will be more likely to believe it instead."

"I got it."

"When the message is brewing to take effect, we'll do it."

...

The Kingdom of Sentasia, inside the palace.

Dressed in a white and dark brown fur coat, with a light purple necklace hanging from his neck, with slender pupils in his eyes, the Evil King, who looked like he didn't have the temperament of a king, was lying on the throne with a peaceful face.

Standing beneath the throne was Hector Les, who had appeared in the Kingdom of Sentasia two days ago, and his eyes were blank at the moment as if he had lost his mind.

"Captain ... No, it's His Majesty the King!" The skinny man standing next to the Evil King rubbed his palms to beg, "This marine dared to sneak into your palace, it's simply a crime, do you want your subordinates to kill him in the most brutal way?"

"This guy's not weak meow, even I had to work hard to catch him." The Evil King picked out cookies from one side of the table and tossed them into the air, then languidly opened his mouth wide and let them fall in.

"Such a character probably has a high status in the Marine Headquarters, and it would be troublesome to really kill him."

"Yes, yes, or Your Majesty is considerate." The skinny man asked testily, "I heard that this fellow had another companion who escaped, should we torture him first?"

"No need to go to that much trouble meow." The Evil King asked Les below, "Marine, tell the King who you are."

"Lieutenant Commander Les of the Marine Headquarters."

"Lieutenant Commander? Kind of interesting." The Evil King continued to ask, "Tell the king about your mission and the whereabouts of the fellow who traveled with you."

"I ..." Les was about to continue when suddenly, his eyes fluttered violently, and he held his head and screamed, "Ahhhh!"

"Stop!"

"It's amazing how much stronger the will becomes when it comes to this aspect ah meow!" Seeing that Les had calmed down, the Evil King was quite surprised.

"Looks like we'll have to ask the question in a different way." After a moment of contemplation, the Evil King asked, "How many people came from the Marine Headquarters in total?"

"Four."

"Who's the leader of the group?"

"It's the pride of the Marines, Commodore Longinus!" Even unconscious, Les spoke with an instinctive, passionate undertone.

"Longinus?" The Evil King unconsciously straightened his languid sitting posture, and with a grave face, he asked, "Is that the same marine that killed the great sea pirate World that was so widely publicized in the newspapers some time ago?"

"That's the Commodore."

"Your Majesty, that's ... that's a monster that can kill even a half billion bounty!" The small, terrified man asked, "What if he comes after us ..."

"Although that guy is indeed a tricky character, don't forget our current status." The Evil King was calm and composed.

"Ah!" The skinny man exclaimed, "Yeah, you're the supreme king now, boss, and even the marine doesn't dare to do anything to us!"

"That's true meow." The Evil King twirled his beard lightly, "But being stalked by a monster like that isn't anything to be happy about, and with all those delicious souls I'm a bit full, it's time to think about leaving."

"Want to leave?" The skinny man asked, somewhat reluctantly.

"Well?" The Evil King slightly accentuated his nasal voice, "You plan to stay here?"

The skinny man came back to his senses with a start, "No, no, no, of course I'm sworn to follow the Captain."

"By the way, boss, what about this guy?"

"Let him 'escape' back, stabilize that guy first before meowing." The Evil King said, his eyes growing frenzied, "Before we leave, we'll send them off to another great war!"
