Haru was the best mage in the Japanese army. Building up a amazing reputation before deciding to give up his life in the military and settle down.

 His plans were cut short as he found himself in the body of a baby.

 He taught himself magic again from scratch before finding himself in a dire situation whilst on his first school trip causing him to give up on magic and take on the art of Chinese cultivation. 

His master was a soul fragment of an ancient cultivator who placed his soul inside of a golden ring in the shape of a dragons body.

<p>Haru looked around after hearing the voice but then suddenly felt something clamp down around his waist and found it a little bit hard to breath as he felt the ground beneath his feet vanish as he was lifted up into the air and was blinded by white light as he entered the clouds.  </p>

<p>'What's going on?' He thought as he looked down to see that he was being grabbed by a hand that looked similar to the technique that Teacher Lin had used many times before.  He had no idea what was happening but as he looked up he began to see what looked like a waterfall that was spilling water down from the sky but it looked a little strange.  </p>
