With a heavy heart, Cindy went back inside the car and drove back into the highway. Something inside her mind is deliberately taking her to go on a circular path as she moves, going in and out of the cloverleaf intersection. She could have leaped early and hidden the body, but she just experienced the worst feeling of a 'kid-separation-anxiety.' She tried to shake it off by taking a deep breath. F_ck! But it was not helping. She must have gotten close to the kids, who, by the way, should not happen. She stopped at the empty layover area along the highway. Then lit a cigarette to calm herself down. Don't! She warned herself. The urge to retrieve them back bothered her. F_ck! She knew she would violate the rules set before her.
