The Writings on the Wall

The remnants of the rope that was cut near the beam were still visible.

"Uh, that day! What a sad sight it must have been!" Susana hypothesized.

"What happened, Paul?" Primo mumbled as he looked around.

Thelma walked around the room. The bed was unkempt and dirty. The floor had some dried black markings, possibly from human excreta. The table was turned, and the chair Paul must have used to stand before he flipped it on the floor -lie broken on the side.

"Susana, look at this!" Primo pointed at the drawing paper lying under the bed. Primo pulled it out as it slowly revealed a torn paper with charcoal drawing. Primo rotated the paper.

Susana exclaimed, 'Oh my God! The house!"

Primo dusted up the drawings, and though half of it is missing, it clearly showed the structure.

"What about it?" Thelma asked.
