CHAPTER 4

After we got home I immediately change my clothes into a t-shirt and comfy shorts. After I go down I saw Nico sitting to my balcony and handling a bottle of beer. He is just starring at the star in the sky like he had a huge problem. I go to him and immediately I tap his shoulder and he was shocked like he saw some ghosts.

" Hey, what's your problem?" I said to him while cleaning the chair beside him.

" I just thinking about you. I gonna miss you." He said while slowly shake his bottle of beer.

" Same here. I gonna miss you but its just one month Nico don't be too clingy." I said while slowly laughing beside him.

" I"m not a clingy dash. I was just saying the truth. What if you change your decision and decided to stay there?" He said while directly looking to my eyes. His eyes were too sad. He drinks again while I thinking about what he said.

" I don't think so. I'm not also sure but once I feel suffocated and don't know what to do again I will just go here again even though my vacation is not finished. I will just go here." I said while facing the sky again. I'm not sure. I don't know and I don't want to stay there for a long time. I'm ready to face him again but not emotionally. I don't want to hear his side, his explanation because don't know if I can trust his words again.

" What if I say I like you dash? Can I have a space in your heart?" He said and then he drunk again his beer and he scratches his head using his fingers. And me, I was stunned for a moment. I don't know what's on his mind and also mine.

"I know dash and it's fine I understand." He said while holding my hand and his other hand carefully tapping my shoulder. My mind stops for a moment. I just hug him suddenly and buried face to his shoulder.

"I don't want to ruin our friendship. I don't want us to be miserable because of that fucking relationship. I don't want you to be ruined. I want you to have your own life with another woman. Don't stop meeting other women until you met someone that you can spend your life." I said that to him because I love our friendship relationship and I don't know if I will be ready again for that kind of relationship.

"I will dash. Don't worry I will move on. I am hoping that you might say yes but it's fine and I understand." He said while hugging me so tightly. Someday Nico you will meet a girl that will be more worthy and willing to spend her life with you.

After that a long minute we slowly break the hug and he drunk again to his bottle.

"Nico stay here for tonight. Don't drive and just to your room. Wait I will just ready your room." I said and immediately stand and go to his room.

" Yes dash, I will stay here for tonight because I know you will be worried too much and scold me tomorrow in the office." He shouted.

After that night, Nico and I spend every day together until we realized that it's my last day here before I go back to the Philippines. Nico decided to take leave for this day and spend his day with me. We go to the salon because I've decided to cut my hair above my shoulder but Nico suggested also to color my hair into brown and have some highlight of caramel. I can say that it's good for me and I feel very confident to go back to the Philippines now." Your so beautiful dash. I can say that your new hair fits you." He said while looking to me.

"Thank you and I hope its not a joke," I said while getting my card and he just chuckles beside me.

" Thank you ma'am for trusting and I hope I can see you again." the cashier of the salon.

I just smile at her and nodded. After we got finished at the salon, we ate at our favorite restaurant it served some pizza and I think I can recommend it cause it's too delicious and the cheese it's so overflowing.

After we ate we decided to go home because I need to arrange my things because my flight is tomorrow morning and Nico volunteers to bring me to the airport and I agree with that.

" How many luggage will you need?" He said while reaching my luggage to the top of my cabinet. I had 3 luggage and it has a different size because sometimes when we traveled I need one small size and a big one so bought three sizes so I have some choices if I need it.

" I think 1 big and 1 medium size," I said while checking my clothes that I will bring to the Philippines.

After two hours, I finally finished packing my things and I saw Nico sitting on the sofa and holding his phone.

"Hey! I'm finished packing my things. What are you doing?" I said. I sit beside him and slowly peeking to his phone and I saw his posting some of our pictures.

" I just posted some of our pictures. Wait what do you want for our dinner?" He said but still, his focus is on his phone.

" I want pasta and some glass of red wine for tonight," I said while getting my phone to the table beside him.

" I will just order," he said as he stands to the chair. I just nodded because I got busy scrolling to my face gram but a minute I got an unexpected message from Bella.

" Hey I thought you and Nico are just friends?" she said.

" Yeah, we're just friends. Why?" I said

" I saw his post and you were tagged to that." She said after a minute.

I immediately follow Bella and friends after I met her cause I feel that I feel that I'm not updated to her life now and it's so sad. I think that's the result of running away to them.

After I read that, I immediately search for Nico's account and I saw his post. It has a caption of " I gonna miss you. I will wait for you here." It was short but it's very touching to me. I'm sure I gonna miss him more. I used to his presence for the past year and also were not used to be a way to each other for that long time. After that, I saw him handling a paper bag and I'm sure it contains my requested pasta. We help each other to arrange our table and before we eat we took a picture. After an hour Nico decided to go to the house of his aunt because he got an emergency call.

Before I sleep, I've decided to post the picture that we had earlier before we ate our dinner. I caption it by " I gonna miss eating dinner with you." and I tagged it to Nico's account.
