The Truth

"The time I started having these strange dreams were three months ago," she started saying, but her eyes were moving around like crazy. They were never directed at me.

"But… but it all started when the apartment on the top of the complex was occupied… the number 56, I had a hunch that it has to be with that person, that everything had to do with her, though I had never seen her directly. She is always wearing a cap, glasses, and a mask… Please, Miss Lark, I am not lying, you have to believe me."

Miss Porter was a funny person, she was small with short brownish hair and big bright caramel eyes. However, even if I can see a bit of silliness in her face, there was not a trace of a scheming aura in her person. I bet she hesitated a lot to come see me, though, it is hard to know how did she get this address.

"I believe you, Miss Porter," I said while sipping my tea. "However, this is too far incredible for me to fully comprehend or even take action."
