Family

Little did I know that the moment I went out from that house where two of my beloved ones were together and waiting for me, the game would start. I was betting with myself that everything will be alright, and I will be able to fool that thing. But with every day, my resolution was drying out.

Adam took me to a mall to get clothes and some other necessities. I did it quickly, just some jeans and shirts and jackets and shoes, and many other useful clothes. The gentleman used his card to pay for everything, and that was another thing to add to the list of things I had to compensate him for. I couldn't give him my heart, but I wanted to do something for him, even a little tiny thing.

We left the mall with the back seat almost exploding from the bags and boxes. What? I didn't bring anything with me.

"Are you satisfied, my Queen?"

"Barely," I smiled as we were heading out of the parking lot, "I… I will pay for everything, Adam."
