Chapter 29

Julius did not really look the way Alice had imagined a king would. She had seen their own king, an old man, short with a big belly, dressed room head to toe with jewelry and a huge bald spot at the top of his head that he tried desperately to hide with his shiny crown. Julius not only around twenty years younger was tall, with a very ripped body, showing how often he exercised. Only the few grey hairs of his showed that he was approaching his thirties. No wrinkles and no signs of aging. His eyes were strict and his tanned skin glowed under the bright sun. He wasn't dressed with extravagant clothing. Just a white shirt with no sleeves that hanged loose from his body and a white pair of pants that stopped above his ankles, leather sandals on his feet. The only sign of wealth were the golden cuffs on his forearms. Pressing him muscles.
