Chapter 52

She didn't know what happened or why she had that reaction to the sight in front of her but it was clear as day that she wasn't supposed to see that. The moment her eyes locked the fiery bird her brain felt like it would explode and an insufferable pain spread throughout her whole body. She wanted to look elsewhere, avert her gaze but she was so taken in by the mythical creature she couldn't do anything to avoid it. Alice felt like she was imprisoned in Julius' memories while the enormous bird flew above her head. She screamed and cried needing to get out until she felt someone slap her hard. Suddenly she was thrown back into her own world, right in front of her the twins, calling out her name filled with worry.
