You stared at the pictures that the doctor gave you. Byron made good on his word about getting you pregnant, even if he was joking, saying you would officially join the family. You had already met his kids and knew they wanted you to be their mother figure for them. Trey often would ask you to give him a little sister and you would laugh waving it off. Well now he was going to get his wish, you just weren't sure how Byron would react. You had isolated yourself from them trying to figure out how to tell them that you were pregnant with a baby girl. You were terrified and happy at the same time because you would become a mother. After hours of contemplating on how you would tell them, you finally went to the store. You bought the things you would need to reveal the big secret to the kids and the man you have been dating for some time now.
When you got everything you made your way home before pulling out your phone and dialing Byron's phone number. It had barely rung once before he picked up and you knew you had worried Byron since you had ignored all of his calls for a few days now.
"(Y/N), I have been calling you, are you okay?" Byron asked before you could get anything out and you let a small smile grace your lips.
"Yes, I am fine. I am sorry I worried you, I didn't mean to. I just needed some time alone, I am better now. Hey, I am calling because me and you need to talk. Uhm the kids needs to be there too actually...:"
"(Y/N)? Is it serious?"
"I hate to throw this on you but, yes it is very serious. Make sure everyone is there, I am about to be over at your place soon." You said and Byron was silent assuming the worst.
"Is it bad?"
"Uhm, depends on you really. Don't worry, I gotta go, bye. I love you." Before he could say another word you hung up on feeling bad but smiled as you got the presents ready before putting them in your car. You sat in your car for a bit before driving to the Arclight's house. Nervousness was eating at you alive but you buried it deep down trying to gain the confidence you needed when you walked through that door. When you arrived you grabbed the presents and rang the doorbell, and Byron was standing there looking at you confused and you gave him a shy smile.
"What is all of this?"
"Presents for them and you..." You said and he let you in, and you set them on the table. Trey gave you a hug before Chris and Thomas followed suit before looking at you.
"What do you have to talk to us about?" Trey asked and you gave a shy smile before glancing at Byron who seemed to be shifting and nervous on what you have to say.
"Well, I am not going to say anything. First this is for you Trey, Quinton, Quattro, and Byron. Open them..." You said secretly videoing them as they opened the presents. Trey was the first to start opening his, and everyone followed after him. The three younger ones had a picture and three different baby girl clothes in their box with a 'Congratulations you are a big brother' card, and Byron had a picture of the ultrasound, and a dress with a 'Congratulations you are a father of a baby girl' card. Trey was the first to see it and he dropped his box running to you and hugging you tightly and everyone stopped to look at him.
"Are you serious!?" You giggled slightly and nodded your head and he began bouncing up and down, Chris, Thomas and Byron all rushed to open their presents to see what the big surprise was. You glanced at Byron and he froze in place, but Chris and Thomas were hugging you tightly excited they were going to be a big brothers to a little sister.
"(Y/N)...are you really pregnant with a girl?" Byron asked and everyone turned to their father, and you began to get nervous.
"Y-Yeah. Are you...okay?" You began to get worried with his reaction, and he was silent.
"Dad?" Trey asked and he left going upstairs, the kids watched their father retreat and you covered your mouth before breaking down assuming the worst. Tears began to rush down your cheeks and you kneeled to the floor and Trey and Chris kneeled beside you, all three of them were surprised by their father's reaction. Thomas was really upset and rushed upstairs and slammed his father's door open, the action made Byron jump slightly and look at his second eldest son.
"Dad! What the hell? Don't you love her?"
"Of course, I don't have time to talk right now..." Byron said going back to looking for something but Thomas wasn't going to be ignored.
"She is the closest thing to a mother we have, and you always joked about being a father to her future kids, but you don't even seem happy."
"Of course I am happy. Thomas what is up with you?"
"The fact that (Y/N) is downstairs crying because you clearly just left to come up here." Trey said disappointed in his father. Byron blinked before realizing how bad it seemed that he didn't even acknowledge it.
"It's not like that, I just. Listen, I bought a wedding ring for her, and I am looking for it. I want to propose to her now... that's why I left downstairs, I am really happy that I will have a little girl." Byron explained and Trey and Thomas were surprised as they sat on their father's bed.
"So you aren't going to just leave her? She is really worried that you will." Trey said, and Byron had guilt filled him before finding the ring in the drawer.
"No, opposite actually." Byron said and the two relaxed and smiled as he rushed downstairs to see his eldest son, Chris, holding you. You were crying in his shoulder and Chris looked at his father upset before seeing the small box and Chris soon realized what was going on.
"He's back down (Y/N)..." You stopped crying and began to wipe your tears but Byron beat you to it. You met his eyes and he pressed his lips to yours and you blushed, surprised by his actions. The three watched their father as he broke the kiss and leaned his forehead against yours.
"B-Byron..."
"(Y/N), listen I didn't mean to give you the wrong idea. I am extremely happy that I am going to be fathering a baby girl and expanding the family. I was just shocked, I thought I had time to do this. When you isolated yourself but then showed us that you were pregnant, I knew any extra time I had went out the window. (Y/N), I went upstairs, not because I was upset that you were pregnant, but to look for the ring I bought." Byron got down on one of his knees and opened the box and your eyes widened in shock. You felt tears brim your eyes again but this time they were happy tears.
"I want us to get married, spend the rest of our lives together. I want you to move in with us, and raise our baby girl together. Become Chris, Thomas, and Trey's mother. Please become my wife (Y/N)." He said, you didn't notice but the camera was still recording and Trey was recording in the same video as their surprise reactions.
"Of course Byron... I am so happy. I would love to be your wife. " You said and he slipped the ring on your finger before you pressed your lips to his and he hugged you tightly.
"There, officially I can call (Y/N) mom." Trey said and you laughed softly as you parted from the kiss.
"You were already doing that." You said to Trey and he only shrugged and Byron only shook his head before hugging you tightly.
"Curious mom, how long do we have to wait before we meet our sister?" Thomas asked and you hummed slightly.
"Well I am four months pregnant, so between four and five months." You said and they were surprised and you laughed softly.
"I was surprised too, knowing that I missed four months of my pregnancy." You admitted with a shy smile and Byron chuckled softly.
"We should pack your things, so you can move in." Chris said and Byron nodded.
"We can do it, (Y/N) you rest." Trey said and Thomas nodded.
"Yeah, leave the packing to us three. You relax with dad..."
"But..."
"That's a great idea." Byron said and you sighed but smiled warmly.
"Fine... if you guys insist."
"We do." The three said and Byron sat on the couch and you laid your head on his shoulder and they took your keys before leaving.
"I am sorry I made you cry."
"It's okay, I was so scared." You said looking up at him and he pushed your hair behind your ear.
