Dead

I was taken into a cell but they let me keep my book which is what I'm using to write this. I was still in disbelief and begged the guards to let me out but instead they punished me by not giving me water for the remaining day. I observed the inmates as the guards carried bowls with small portions of water. They reached in desperation but the guards ignored most of them. He only gave water to two inmates. A important politician who'd been arrested while trying to start a revolt against Athens and a young man who was badly wounded across his chest with his hands behind his back. I theorized about the reason he was arrested but gave up. Soon, night fell. The guards were asleep and most of the inmates were too. I leaned back preparing to join them when I heard a whisper. I looked across my cell and saw the guy with his hands behind his back. "Hey kid, I've got the key, free yourself and then free me" he said quietly. I looked at him confused, "Where's the key"? He stretched his neck and pointed to a small object. "The guards left it there to taunt me, but now you're here , hurry up". I stretched my hand and slipped it through the iron bars. I stood up slowly and quietly opened the cell. It was then that I saw the guard light the torch and point it to my face. I stood still. "Kid who told you to do this" he asked. I stood still, frozen in disbelief. They scarred man stood up. "It was me" he said staring at them with no signs of fear. "Yadmon you damn brat!" he drew his spear and sent it towards Yadmon in a fit of rage. It pierced his heart and he fell back dead. The other guard awoke in horror. "What have you done!" he said in disbelief, "That's the son of The master!". The feeling of despair sank deep in the guards chest. He sprinted out. I sat in shock trying to process what I'd witnessed. The other guard put me back in my cell and told me to sleep. I tried not to think about anything but I still failed. The next day came. Thunder of Zeus ravaged across the sky from mount Olympus. I dreaded the moment when the guard would come to tell me my excecution was set. I also dreaded the moment that Thanatos would swoop in and tell me the news off my death. Them I'd be taken to the gates of the underworld where the three headed dog was stood. Hours passed and one of my fears came Thanatos came, "Your time will end within an hour, I will then take you to the domains of Hades". I accepted my fate. The guard came and before he bothered to tell me. I walked out. He led me to the place of my death. Many awaited the moment my head would fall off and my blood spilt. Anyways bye my book is being taken.

I've picked up the boys book and have decided to end his story. After one last tear mixed in with his rage, he's dead.
