Chapter 2: Hogwarts

Have you gotten that feeling before that when you see something so mind captivating, that time literally feels like it has come to a complete stop? That's exactly what happened to me as the striking image of this magnificent room hit the view of my retinas of my eyes and the cones of my eyes detected every perfect detail of what I was seeing in front of me. Walls so golden it looked squeaky clean, silver lining on all the dish platters and utensils, a room so wide in decoration it looked like it was the width of walking down a very fashionable red carpet. The pastel colors of the room were so bright it lit up the whole room making you get caught up in the moment of being trapped in a perfect fantasy where everything around you screamed perfection in color. It was so indescribably beautiful and magical that not even 1,000 words could possibly capture the whole beauty of it. I quickly recognized this room to be the Hogwarts dining hall and then I followed all the students around me who were so captured in the scene of this place that their mouths were open in expression are gasps, down a long corridor to the front of the room where where everyone waited apprehensively as they were waiting to be called up to the sorting hat to find out what their fate was destined to be as the sorting hat would sort them into the house they would be: Ravenclaw ( house of the intelligent), Slytherian ( house of the ambition), Griffyndor ( house of the brave), and hufflepuff ( house of the loyal). Name after name was called and I waited impatiently until it was time for my turn and before I knew it I was sitting there on the chestnut brown stool with the jet black sorting hat planted on my head, moments away from finding out my destined fate.

"Hufflepuff!" The sorting hat exclaimed out in just a few seconds of time from the moment it was placed on my head. I could hear the roar of applause taking up the whole room as I made my way down the staircase to the left far corner of the room to sit at a long table with all my fellow hufflepuff members that would be sharing the same house as me. I was feeling more than overjoyed to be here in this amazing place and was so excited to see what was in store for me at this amazing place. I could not wait to leave my mark and a legacy on this place.🎇
