Unregistered Vs Lake Rook

[Unregistered Vs Lake Rook (Clan: Heir of Clan Rook)]

[Map: Open Field]

[Rules: Full Pain, No Permanent Damage.]

[Bet: (Anza Anza) / 1x Spiritual Stone]

The 'Open Field' Arena was one of the most basic Maps available.

Each Map had many different version, each version was called a Scenario. There were many different 'scenarios' but none of them changed anything other than visuals.

The Scenario that they got this time was an empty parking lot.

Standing at the end of the parking lot with a generic store behind him was Lake Rook with text floating above his head.

[Lake Rook Info: Age: 16, Cultivation: Sixth Step]

The Rook Clan was known for their large and strong bodies that their Cultivation Method brought them, and even though Lake was much slimmer than most of the men in his family he still looked like a large log or tree trunk.

When comparing Hazed, he could only be considered a stick at best or a twig at worst.

Standing a lanky six feet was Hazed, his body was far from fit even after becoming stronger from assimilating the Celestial Tiger bloodline.

Like Lake, he too had information floating above his head.

[Unregistered Info: Age: 19, Cultivation: Second Step.]

When Lake saw his information he burst into laughter and mocked, "I don't know where you got your confidence to fight me! However, I really should thank you for being foolish enough to bet someone as lovely as her."

He looked at Anza like he was enchanted.

Hazed simply laughed calmly and said, "All I'll say is go all out, I don't want you to end up embarrassing yourself for looking down on me."

His words and demeanor caused waves within the chat rooms and stands.

[Look at this cocky bastard! There is no way that he can defeat someone Four Steps ahead of him!]

[Maybe he's relying on a treasure or something and he doesn't know that the Duel won't allow any outside help.]

[That's possible, he is an Unregistered.]

After discussing it many people thought that it made sense that he was just clueless so they bet on Lake.

Back down at the Arena, Lake pulled out a large Bronze Warhammer that was clearly not a regular weapon and yelled, "Ready your weapon!"

Hazed raised his fist slightly with a slight smile and said, "Ready."

Lake felt like his face was slapped brutally so he roared, "Don't regret it!" and hit the ready button so hard it looked like he was trying to break it.

On the other side hazed casually hit the ready button while shaking his head; he honestly felt a bit bad bully this kid.

The moment the match began Lake rushed forward like a bull that'd seen red, closing the distance between as swiftly as possible.

As he approached Hazed he swung his massive Warhammer down, crashing into the ground as Hazed barely sidestepped it, dislodging the ground and shooting small cement chunks in all directions.

As soon as it hit the ground Lake yelled, [Double Impact!] and a phenomena of a phantom hammer appeared, following the same trajectory as his previous hit, smashing to the ground, making the off-balance Hazed jump into the air.

Since Hazed hasn't reached First Step himself, he isn't able to practice even the most basic techniques, well, excluding spiritual ones because of being a reincarnator that is.

So, his only choice is to beat this guy by brute force if he doesn't want to use his Spiritual Presence to win.

While still, mid-air Hazed called out in his heart, 'Luna!'

"ROAR!!!"

Tattoos spread from beneath Hazed's clothes, covering his entire body and summoned a Celestial Tiger Phenomena that released a loud and majestic roar that resounded throughout the entire arena, stunning Lake and shocking the entire audience.

The second Hazed's feet touched the ground he used his newly enhanced strength of Seventh Step to launch towards Lake at full speed while he was still stunned.

Before Lake could even react he felt a hand gripping his throat and then it was completely torn out and his consciousness faded, being replaced with a flashing screen that said, [Defeat!]

The entire audience was in complete silence.

Shocked.

*Clap Clap Clap*

A soft clap from a single person echoed loudly when in a completely silent arena, everyone looked towards the source to see the beauty who was up for bet cheering for Hazed enthusiastically.

"Wow! That was so cool!"

Hazed smiled.

"Go get your Spirit Stone. Since you were the bet, you get the reward."

Anza nodded and went to claim the reward.

However, when she went up to claim it they said that Hazed needed to register first and then claim it himself.

Hazed sighed and looked around for Saya who was standing there nervously.

"Saya, will you register me real quick please?"

Saya looked up at Hazed and smiled bitterly, "I don't think I can, I just received word that I'm in a bit of trouble."

Hazed laughed and said, "Just come register me, I promise it'll work out."

Saya's eyes lit up momentarily, but just as quickly as they gain hope they lost them.

Hazed was confused as to what caused her to give up on him so quickly, but then an older man grabbed her shoulder and said, "Saya, how dare you allow an unregistered to use the Arena Area for a Duel!? You know the rules!"

Saya nodded meekly and Hazed was unable to restrain himself, his anger mixing with his new bloodline made him growl out his next words, "Take your hands off of her before I take them off of your body, PERMANENTLY."

The man looked up at Hazed with a mock smile, this little Ant is telling him what to do? He doesn't know the meaning of death!

"Oh? And how exactly are you going to do that?!"

Hazed returned the mock smile and released his Spiritual Presence fully.

The Spiritual Presence was so intense that the stronger people were shaking while the weaker ones had already fallen to their knees and collapsed.

The man with his hands on Saya looked at Hazed and all of the colors drained from his face and began to mutter, "Im-I-Im-Immortal!"

"I. Said. Remove. YOUR HANDS!" Hazed roared while releasing his spiritual pressure.

The people in the surroundings began to sweat and some of the weaker ones fell to there knees.

Hazed had never had such an issue controlling his anger before but he assumed it was because of the bloodline. Either way he'd have to worry about that later.

Right now he just wanted to make sure that Saya wasn't blamed for him wanting to duel.

At this point the whole place was packed, many people had rushed here as soon as possible hoping to recruit Hazed.

He was an unregistered with mysterious strength after all.

But everyone was just standing there in disbelief once again, how could this kid that had the strength of Second Step have the Spiritual Presence of an Immortal.

The man took his hands off Saya and kept them in the air, not daring to say anything.

"Saya, will you please register me now?"

She looked at Hazed bitterly thinking, 'This isn't helping me at all…'

Hazed could guess her thoughts so he laughed and just said one last time, "Just come register me, I promise it'll work out."

To which Saya nodded, she felt like she could trust his words for some reason.

She didn't know how he'd help, but it wasn't like she could say no to an Immortal anyways.

The Registration process was quick and smooth and when it ended Saya looked at Hazed in confusion.

"There is still one more thing to register why are you worried? And the Anza family needs help too."

'Right, I need to check his Clan!'

Since Clans and Sects are tied to Cultivation Methods, the simplest way to register a new clan is to show part of your Cultivation Method.

Obviously there is security in place so that no one can steal the Cultivation Method, it's just to see what kind of Sect or Clan can be created with it.

The only problem, at least for Hazed, is that there is no way for him to hide the fact that this is a 'Divine' Sect.

However there is nothing he can do but ask Saya not to the Divine part out loud, registering a new sect alone is a big deal enough as is it.

Luckily because everyone was scared of him because he was an 'Immortal', he was able to whisper to her without anyone listening in.

"When you register my sect, keep that it's a Divine Sect secret. I'm going to make you my liaison, what's best for me is what's best for you."

Saya nodded numbly, not really registering what the words meant until the scan went through.

"There's finally a new Sect on the West Coast!" She couldn't help but yell excitedly.

Hazed smiled and said, "Mhm and you're it's liaison! I'd like to see them punish you now."

A smile from the bottom of her heart broke out on her face.

'That's right, I'll be his employee and only he can punish me…'

Although it wasn't exactly how she thought, 'It'd all work out', she had to admit, it definitely did work out.
