I won't let you die!

Ning Li was preparing lunch for all of them. Xuan and Fei Ming Si weren't in the apartment as they had to check on Jiong. Feng Lui and Yang Dao were talking with Mingmei in her room.

"Why are you refusing to eat? Xuan will get angry at us," stated Feng Lui. Mingmei looked at him and said, "I want to meet my brother. At least take me there. They are my brothers so I should meet them. What if he's saying the truth? I was young when he didn't use to study but last time I talked with dad, he said brother Tang is really working hard. Maybe Xuan saw something wrong." Mingmei gave her reason to them.

"Xuan has never made a mistake. If he told you that he has seen his memory then he's saying the truth," stated Yang Dao.

"Maybe he's wrong somewhere," murmured Mingmei and then lowered her eyes.

Xuan and Fei Ming Si appeared there. "You never believe me I think," muttered Xuan. Hearing his voice Mingmei raised her head to look at him. "I'm just saying...I mean everyone makes mistakes," murmured Mingmei. Xuan laughed at her. They all got confused seeing Xuan.

"Humans never believe that sometimes their loved ones can commit serious crimes. I think you should see his real face then. Let's go...I'll make you meet your both brothers," stated Xuan. Mingmei blinked her eyes.

Xuan walked to her and then touched her feet. "I think they need more time to heal. I'll use my healing on them later," saying that Xuan carried Mingmei in his strong arms. Fei Ming Si and others looked at him.

"I'm coming in a while," said Xuan and vanished from there with Mingmei. They were in the air above the police station where her brothers were being jailed. "Xuan, you don't have to carry me every now and then. You can support me but you don't have to carry me," muttered Mingmei.

Xuan smiled hearing her and then put her down, holding her by the waist. "Is it fine?," inquired Xuan. Mingmei nodded and then asked, "how will you make me meet my brothers? Won't the police ask you questions?"

Xuan smirked and then said, "I have my ways." Ying Zao came there in his demon form and smiled looking at Mingmei. "Hii," Mingmei greeted Ying Zao who shook hands with her.

"It's really strange to see or should I say it's my first time seeing Xuan doing so much for a woman. It's really strange not only for my eyes but also the other demons," muttered Ying Zao with a smile.

"I ask for a wish from Lord Haya to make him my slave," mumbled Mingmei and laughed. Xuan smiled hearing her talk with Ying Zao.

"Should we go then? You two can talk later too," stated Xuan. Ying Zao nodded and told them that they could go there. "Well, we've to stop the time for sometime if you wanna talk with them," stated Ying Zao.

"Hmm, that I know. Let's go then," said Xuan and they landed on the ground, while Mingmei was on a wheelchair. She was startled by the magic they just used. "Let's go in," said Ying Zao. Xuan held the handles on the wheelchair and then pushed it ahead. Ying Zao made their entry in the register and allowed them to go.

Tang Lao and Wang Hao were surprised to see her. Xuan pushed the wheelchair and they went inside the cell. "What happened to you?," asked Wang Hao worriedly, looking at Mingmei.

"Ahh, my feet got hurt. Nothing serious. How are you two?," asked Mingmei and then looked at Tang Lao who wasn't looking at her.

"How can we be? I told you that when we throw you out- don't ever show me your face. Because of you everything gets worse. I'm afraid now what new things are ahead our way. You're the reason for our bad omen…don't you want us to live in peace?," yelled Tang Lao. Wang Hao remained quiet while Xuan tightened his grip on the wheelchair handle.

"Brother, why do you say so? I didn't even come in front of you all these years. Why do you.." Tang Lao cut her words and then glared at her. "You don't know what are you? Should I remind you? How dare you to show me your filthy face?," shouted Tang at her. Tears started flowing from Mingmei's eyes.

Xuan couldn't control himself and he walked to Tang Lao who was looking at him in confusion. The next second he grabbed his neck and said, "I think this punishment wasn't enough for you." Wang Hao tried calling the police but his voice wasn't coming out of his mouth.

"You called her jinx when you know who was behind all this. You are the reason for your own downfall," muttered Xuan and then released him. Tang Lao gasped for air.

"Who who...are you?," stuttered Tang Lao. Mingmei told Xuan to stop but he didn't.

"Apologize to her else I'll kill you. I'm not kidding so don't give me that look," grunted Xuan. "She's the demon bride according to an old woman who brings bad omen. Because of her our lives ruined. I will never…"

Before Tang Lao could complete his words Xuan again grabbed his neck. "I'm that demon. You made the worst mistake of your life. Some humans can be worse so I should eliminate your existence from this universe," muttered Xuan and then smirked. Wang Hao held Xuan's hand but he threw him away with his other hand.

Mingmei stood up in difficulty and walked to Xuan to stop him. "Now, say goodbye to your existence," muttered Xuan under his breath and was going to snap his fingers when Mingmei came in front of him. "Don't do this, please." Xuan looked into Mingmei's eyes which were pleading from him.

"He's not worth surviving. I told you punishment must be there for such people," grumbled Xuan.

"Please, don't. Don't turn me into a real jinx. I don't want to be the reason for anyone's death," said Mingmei while crying. Xuan released Tang Lao and took part of their memories of the recent incident before leaving from there with Mingmei.

They appeared in the park. Mingmei was in the wheelchair while Xuan was on his knees. He was healing the feet of Mingmei with his healing magic. Mingmei wiped off the tears from her eyes. "Thanks for letting him live," murmured Mingmei.

Xuan raised his head and looked at her. "Why are you crying? You shouldn't cry for worthless people," muttered Xuan in anger.

"I'm crying at my fate. He still thinks it's all because of me," murmured Mingmei and then turned her face away. Xuan then spoke, "do you think it's all because of your fate?"

"Yes. Isn't this the truth? You are tied to me just because of my bad fate. You would've killed that demon a long ago but you couldn't. Why? because your life is also in danger because of me. Every person who got associated with me had to face difficulties only. I'm tired of myself...tired of seeing the people suffer because of me. I….I am not worth living in this world...I just want to…."

Before Mingmei could complete her words Xuan placed his lips on Mingmei's. Tears which were flowing from Mingmei's eyes fell onto Xuan's cheeks. Mingmei put her hands on his shoulders to push him but he grabbed her hands putting them down and then said in his deep voice, "You can't die because this time I won't let you die." He then leaned back and they both looked into each other's eyes.
