Chapter Four

"Lilly that was very rude apologies now. Anyway class without that rude comment you may get with your group and plan your research dates after school. That will be all."

    Now my weekend is ruined. My perfect dream broke straight into a nightmare. The only bright side to this is I'm partners with Remi and can work easily after school.

     Lilly gave me a death glare and headed towards me and Remi in the back towards the window.

    "Why out of all the people in this class I had to be paired with you. Did you enjoy that beating yesterday.  I definitely did" she stated quite rudely.

     What crawled up her ass today? Does she think she is the only one here who dreads this pairing?

    "Yes as a matter of fact I did. Anyway I'm not letting you get off the hook. You will help research this because I'm not letting you get in the way of my grades got it."

   Remi popped in rather shyly and spoke, "My parents are on vacation this week and Amber is coming over so you can stay the week if you want. Then we will be able to get all the research we need."

    Did they just say what I think they said. Oh hell naw. This was my one in a lifetime chance to be with Remi and only Remi but now?! Its all ruined.

   I pulled Remi aside and whispered "What are you thinking. This was ment to be our weekend. What about our BMC and Mnt Dew? And most importantly why would you invite a bully to your house!?"

   "As long as we're not going to be in public because I cant be seen with you weirdos. I just want to get the project over with and not have to deal with you two ever again. Got it" Lilly rudely stated after barging into our conversation.

      "Ok then Lilly meet me at Amber's locker after school since you clearly know where that is. Then we will walk home and let our weekend begin."

     "You know I'm only agreeing with this because to be top of the social aspect I cant look like a dumbass. After this project I never want to see or hear from you again kapish."

           Wow what a bitch.

   " I mean who cares about the "social aspect" of life. Your popularity is not on the top of my list. Let's just get this over with as soon as possible so we dont have to argue. This really should be about grades and your success as an individual. Why does it matter whether you have "friends" by your side or not. Those minions will not be there for you when you need them to be. So lets just put our differences aside and start fresh. I think that's the best way to start our project" and with that I gave a fake-ish half smile.

      After all of that talk I looked to see both Remi and Lilly shocked. Then the bell rang and I quickly left for math. I don't know how this week will really turn out. At least I know alot about Old Man's cave. After all I live down the road from it so not that hard to research.

      The rest of the day was ok but I wish the day would have gone slower. The bell is about to ring and its already 9th period and I'm not ready for what is ahead. I stare at the clock hoping it would stop ticking.

   3,2,1. RING RING RING. The end of my life here I come. I gather my things and head to my locker. On arrival I see Remi there waiting for me. I open my locker and get my things for this week. At least I dont have to be alone like I always am.

   Now we have to wait on Lilly. I hope she is nicer once she is out of public. But I don't think that's possible because of what I've done to her. And I don't know what Remi was thinking inviting Lilly. But I guess that's over with.

    "Let's hurry up and get out of here before anyone sees us together. I will have to stop at my house sometime this weekend so I can get my things" broke me out of my daze. I looked at Remi and nodded meaning lets get out of here.

     I have walked to Remi's house many times it's a couple miles but I deal with it. Their house was average size. I always love going over there because they have a nice veiw of the forest. It's so peaceful out there.

    After about 10 to 15 minutes we arrived there. I looked over to Lilly to see a emotionless face. Maybe if she would get her head out of her ass maybe just maybe she wouldn't be that bad. Oh no I cant be caught thinking like that. I need to investigate but cautiously.

   Remi unlocks the door and let's the hell begin.
