~•Chapter 6•~

~Elizabeth POV~

The Storm got louder and heavier the wind broke off tree branches. Some tree branches went soaring into the air breaking people's windows. The wind was like a screaming baby in the middle of the night.

"AAAAHHHHHHH" I heard screams from almost a block away. Tears stream down my face as I knew who was screaming. It was my best friend Evan. We knew each other since we were babies. 'Why him: I whispered to myself. Lexus saw me crying and came over to comfort me the Jermey did the same. I smiled and wiped away my tears. The gunshots started to get closer within each minute.

I held them close and told them "Remember I'm here to protect you, so nothing is going to happen to you"

~Lexus POV~

I was reading a magazine. Then I heard gunshots from over a block away. I turned towards Jermey who was hidden under a cover fearing that they were after us. I looked over at Liz, who was crying, and went over to comfort her. Jermey did the same as me. I didn't want to question why she was crying because it may be personal to her. She held us tight as she wiped away her tears and said in a determined voice "Remember I'm here to protect you, so nothing is going to happen to you"

~Jermeys POV~

I heard gunshots and immediately hid under the covers. I was afraid that they were going to come after us next. When I took off the covers I looked at Liz she was crying for some reason. I went over there with my mother to comfort her. She held as tightly as she wiped away your tears and said "Remember I'm here to protect you so nothing is going to happen to you" Something STILL didn't feel right about what she said. It made my stomach twist and turn. Almost as if she was lying to us. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but even if she means it I don't believe and I never will.
