THE NEW BEGINNING!

"Do you want to come inside?"

A myriad of emotions swept over Lyza's gloomy eyes as she stood amid those pastel pink clouds. She gave a weak smile which with every passing second grew longer and brighter.

"Yes!" She cried out in delight.

Lyza held on to the little red flowers as she followed Ashton through the gates to the now unlocked house. She looked around keenly as Ashton hung the keys on to a hook on the wall of the living room.

"You can crash on this couch tonight. Other rooms are somewhat messy as I was not expecting any guests. Feel free to use the washroom inside my room to the right and the kitchen to the left"

Ashton after explaining this went to the laundry area to get a fresh set of towels for her to use. He handed them over and asked her to take the first turn in showering and led her to his room.

She carefully placed the wilted tiny flowers on the edge of the wooden table in his room and slowly walked into the washroom closing the door behind her. Ashton sensed a weird feeling in his mind.

'A lady is showering in my room!!' He felt excited yet terrified.

[INSIDE THE WASHROOM]

Lyza hung the towels to the long iron rod inside and looked around.

'It is pretty easy. I just have to bath. I have seen the lady use it before' She thought staring at the knob of the shower while she got out of her untidy clothes.

She felt the cold rush of water flow through her long hair to her bare skin which gave her chills. She somehow stood freezing under the chilly water for a while and hurriedly got out to reach out for her clothes lying in the wet ground.

[IN THE LIVING ROOM]

Ashton was sitting in the chair, a little uncomfortable with the whole new environment he was exposed to.

He saw Lyza terribly shaking as she came out of his room, dripping wet in the same old clothes.

"Oh my God Lyza... Just use the towels" He exclaimed

As she stood there still not knowing what to do, Ashton was annoyed and ran to the washroom to get the towels as he shouted "Why didn't you use the heater?"

He came back with the towels and put one on her hair. "See, you have to rub it all around" Ashton demonstrated on himself with another towel as he scorned. Lyza quietly followed his directions.

'Is she new to all these things?' He thought.

"Your clothes are all wet." He sounded angry yet concerned.

He rushed to his room and took out an old pair of T-shirt and tracks from the closet from which he had already grown out of. He asked her to change into those while stretching his hands to pass them over.

Lyza took the clothes from his hands and moved back to his room.

'Am I being a nuisance?' She thought as she slowly got out of her wet clothes. She took the clean ones in hand and started putting them on in a way she thought was right.

Ashton was walking around the living room restlessly as Lyza entered. The left neck of the T-shirt was lying off her shoulder.

Ashton noticed that she was holding on to the loose pants.

"It is a little loose." She told looking at the T shirt.

"It is a lottt loose." Ashton corrected her and started laughing as he walked towards her.

"You have to tie the pants not hold it." He said while slightly raising her top to help her tie the laces. He saw her navel by mistake and suddenly looked away. His heart started pounding. He tried to hide his eyes from hers as he tied the laces.

Ashton couldn't hide his embarrassment.

"I am not hungry tonight. You can fix up a sandwich before going to bed. Everything you need is there inside the fridge." He told and rushed to his room not turning back.

[THAT NIGHT]

Ashton laid on his bed staring at the ceiling of his bed room with his arms behind his head. He was not able to get 'the rain drop shape' out of his mind.

The thought that she is wearing his clothes went on and off his head.

'I wonder what she is doing outside.'

'Should I give her a mosquito coil?'

But the thought of facing her again with this state of mind kept him from doing so.

He turned over to the window side of the bed.

A fair amount of night light fell through the window panes on to the wooden table top where he saw a tiny pile of small red flowers. He got up, took the flowers in hand and smelled them.

'They smell just like her.' He smiled as his stomach growled.
