Jailain (JuJu) POV

"If life was a movie then you're the best part."

As I listen to the gentle rhythms of best part by HER I focus my concentration on preparing breakfast for Sylyssia and me

After my meltdown yesterday she just held me and swayed me to sleep never letting go of me I feel so tranquil seeing the brightness of the sun peeking through the window to start the day

"Almost done." I mutter flipping the last banana raspberry that I specially made for Sylyssia

I didn't want a big breakfast so I fixed me simple scrambled cheese eggs, cheese grits, and patty sausages mix together in a bowl

And Sylyssia I fixed her four big fluffy banana raspberry pancakes, scrambled cheese eggs, plain grits, and patty sausages I smile once everything was finished I quietly transferred all the dirty dishes to the sink fixing her breakfast on a fine china plate I sat her plate on the table making my way towards the refrigerator freezer I grab a bar of butter and grab a clean knife rinsing the knife off I get a piece of paper towel and dry it off and open it and cut a medium-size piece of butter placing it on top of the stack of pancakes and pour a heavy amount of syrup on them and then I pour the syrup in my bowl afterward I place our food on a tray and tiptoe back into the room seeing she was still asleep and I sat the food down crawling on the bed straddling her

"Baby wake up!" I giggle poking her and earning groans of irritation from her

"Let me sleep, woman." Sylyssia says covering her eyes so the rays of light won't get in them

"I made food though." I said with a pout and she releases a sigh

"Alright let's eat!" Sylyssia says excitedly getting up and I laugh getting off her grabbing the food bringing it back to the mattress passing her the special plate first and then getting mine

Saying a quick prayer we dug in enjoying the delicious breakfast
