I looked out at the night sky, ominously looking out the window at nothing whatsoever.

"Parker." Mr. Furish said, snapping me back into reality.

"Sorry, sir." I quickly responded with a chuckle.

"You asked me to talk to you 2 AM for a reason, didn't you?" Mr. Furish said.

"Captain, I regret a lot of the things that I've done," I began, "And one of those things is not respecting you."

Mr. Furish seemed genuinely surprised at my sudden apology, especially because I had done it in the middle of the night.

"I'm sorry, sir." I said awkwardly, gazing right into his black eyes, "I do respect you, and my classmates reminded me that I certainly don't make it seem like it."

"I'm glad you're having a revelation, Mr. Wallmont." Mr. Furish began, "But this wasn't the first thing that you were reminded of tonight, was it?"

"I would never lie, sir." I said, "Yes."

"But you have before, and it troubled you deeply." Mr. Furish said.

"What do you know?" I said quickly and nervously.

Mr. Furish chuckled, "Parker, I know... everything."

"What do you mean by everything?" I asked feeling myself clench.

"I know everything that you kids have gone through, and what you keep going through, Mr. Wallmont."

I sat in a thin-framed chair in Mr. Furish's library/office, which consisted of the walls, which were made of wooden bookshelves, a large open window that overlooked the pool, a wooden desk, and dark green carpet, of which somehow made the room seem more sophisticated.

I swiveled nervously, from side to side in the chair, while Captain stayed calm while he placed his arm on the table, carefully resting his chin on his large hands.

"You have some explaining to do. You're the one who said you wanted things to spice up. This is certainly the way to do it." Captain said, sipping his clear oolong tea from a mug that said, 'Tears Of My Students'.

All I did was stare at him wide-eyes with a terrified expression.

"You have quite nice amber eyes, Parkee." Mr. Furish said, swirling his hand in a circle to stir his tea, "Ring any bells?"

The words slammed into me like a knife.

I started to breath heavy.

"But-but-but-"

"Ah, but... you're the one who said you wanted to spice things up." Mr. Furish said, "I'm just trying to help you get this over with faster, and if you don't tell them soon, I will."

"What?! But they'll hate me if you tell them!" I said nervously.

"Then you best get on that, Mr. Ecksen." Mr. Furish said, "Let them know who you really are. And what you've done."

I flinched at my real name.

"But, they'll hate me!" I said, feeling like I was on the brink of tears.

"Not if they're true friends. This is just a test for them, Parker. It'll be good for you." Mr. Furish said, still looking casually down at his tea, which he placed on his crossed leg.

"They're the only people who have ever-"

"But have they though? This is the way to really see if they do." Mr. Furish said.

I let out a sigh.

"They'll hate me like everyone else who's known who I am has." I said, cupping my face with my olive hands, muffling my words.

"Parker, I really do like you buddy, but you need to tell them somehow. Tough love." Mr. Furish said, folding his dark hands.

I sniffled, and said quietly, "Eva would hate me."

"What?" Mr. Furish asked kindly, his deep voice quieting.

Tears rimmed my eyes, and I shakily said, "She would despise me. So does Michael, Mom, and Dad always did."

"Parker, they're all dead..." Mr. Furish whispered.

"Wait- What?" I responded, sitting up in my seat quickly.

"After you mysteriously disappeared, your family was devastated. Michael committed suicide, after having nobody to help him stand up for him, and the pressure of everything else that weighed down on him, when you left, it ruined him." Mr. Furish began, carefully placing his words, as I looked at him in utter shock, "Your parents, after they had been shunned and responsible for, the thought, deaths of all 3 of their children. They were devastated and depressed, and were kicked out of society, yet somehow kept their massive fortune, making them feel even more guilty. One mysterious night, they were both found dead."

I shook nervously, "No, no, no. That's not true."

"Parker..."

"IT'S NOT TRUE!" I said, gasping as I began to sob.

Tears flooded down my face, causing it and the rest of me to turn red, making my cheeks and eyes bright.

"And it's... it's... all because of me. How dumb... and ridiculous..." I said, becoming angrier with every bit left my mouth.

"Parker, calm down." Mr. Furish said, putting his hands out.

"I PRACTICALLY KILLED MY FAMILY!" I yelled, slamming my head into the table.

My mom, my brother, my sister, and my father...

Were all dead.

"I'm so- so- so-" I yelled angrily, "STUPID!"

I punched the wall angrily, as tears streamed down my face.

"Parker!" Mr. Furish yelled, "Calm down, do you want everyone to know about this now?"

I shook my head, and cried quietly.

I mumbled under my breath, "My father was right, I'm just a little brat who got his own wish:

Watch his own world burn."

Mr. Furish glanced up at me.

"Are we still doing this deal?" I asked through sobs.

"I'm sorry." Mr. Furish said, averting my eyes.

"Yeah. Yeah." I said, wiping my eyes, and calming down as quickly as I could, "All I have to do is tell them that I'm actually Parker Alexander Raymond Kennedy

Ecksen-Rodinland, the indignant bratty son of the richest family in Denver, of which I managed to kill."

"You should get some sleep, Parker." Mr. Furish said to me.

"I'm sorry." I said, "For everything."

"Now go off and daydream for a while." Mr. Furish said.

I sat in my bed, which was directly across from Houston.

Houston was fast asleep, like he always was at this time of day, or night.

He went to bed at 9 o'clock every weekday, and sometimes, he'd be 'crazy' and would decide to fall asleep at 10 on weekends.

Which usually meant that I could do whatever I liked for a couple hours.

He was a deep sleeper too, so it helped me get out of the house every night.

I decided that I would go up into the mountains again, and used my bracelet to turn into my charged form.

I slid the black bracelet to the right, and just like that, my hair darkened into a deep brown, and my eyes glowed a rainbow of colors, like my mother's hazel eyes. My skin deepened into a tan, and a black shadow covered my face, with only my shining pupils being visible.

I quietly opened the window, and jumped out quickly, and began to fly through the night sky.

It was pretty cold at night, but luckily the charged form was adorned with a black long sleeved T-shirt, black pants, black gloves, along with black boots.

I floated through the brisk air, all the way up on top of Elephant Mountain, where Lauren and I were supposed to go when we had our first practice.

I de-transformed and sat on a rock, and looked out upon the tiny houses in the distance.

"Parker?" a voice said from behind me.

A jumped a little as a feminine voice said my name.

"What are you doing here?" the girl asked, walking over to me.

"Oh, hey, Skye." I said, "I could ask you the same thing."

"I think we both just came out here because we're bored, correct?" Skye asked, sitting down on the rocks next to me.

"Yeah, sounds about right." I said with a laugh.

"Hey, you okay? You look like you've been crying." Skye said, putting her hands out.

"Oh, I'm fine now." I said, looking away from her quickly.

The second I looked back at her again, our eyes locked, for longer than I was comfortable with.

She gave me a small smile.

Even in the dark night, the stars reflected off her teal eyes, like the reflection in a lake.

Her skin and hair was reflective of the stars too, as her pale skin reflected pearly white, and her long curly golden hair vibrated with color.

She wore a slight smile, along with black yoga pants, and a GAP sweatshirt, the only thing that confused me was that she didn't have shoes on.

She cut off the long and awkward silence by saying, "Well, the only reason I ask is because you're emotions are going haywire."

Oh, yeah. That's right, she can read emotions and locations.

"So, you knew where I was, and you knew how I felt, so you followed me here?" I asked embarrassedly.

"Yes." Skye responded, "So what did you and Captain discuss that made you so angry and sad?"

I stayed silent for a moment, unknowing of what I should tell her, and what I shouldn't.

"You're... unsure?" Skye asked, putting her soft hand on my shoulder, which was covered by a camo jacket.

"Yes." I responded bluntly.

"Well, 'King Of Sass' you may tell me if you wish to," she said strengthening her British accent, then softening her words as she said, "But you don't have to."

"I never knew you could be so sympathetic, Rebel." I said, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, I have the power of emotion for a reason, Sassy Boy." Skye said, "That's just something more that proves that I'm better than you."

"I never said that I was better than you," I retorted, putting a hand to my chest in offense, "I just said that I wasn't worse."

"Yeah" Skye said sarcastically, "Like you'll ever say that you're equal."

"If anything I'd say I'm worse." I said with emphasis.

"And why is that?" Skye asked me, genuinely interested in what I had to say.

But I actually answered her truthfully.

"My family has never been proud of me. And everything that I was ever expected of, I couldn't reach because I was 'uncouth'. Nobody ever cared about my achievements, only my flaws." I realized what she had done, the second all of the words left my mouth, "Wait, how did you make me say that?"

"I never made you say anything," Skye said defensively, "I just willed you to."

"Yeah, well I definitely noticed your bright eyes..." I whispered under my breath.

"Sassy Boy, I know that you have more to tell us, so I'm trying to make it easier on you. Why are you defensive of your feelings and past?" Skye asked.

"If I wanted to discuss it, I would." I said starkly, "If I haven't made that clear enough."

"Alright." Skye said dejectedly, backing away from me.

The second she did, I felt a surge of relief, and knew that it was her powers letting go of control of me.

"I just, regret a lot of the things I've done." I said, averting the gaze of her slim teal eyes.

"We all do, Park. That's why we're in the FOF." Skye said, looking out at the houses.

We looked out at the bright Scottsdale sky, and waited for five minutes before I said, "We should probably go back and get some rest."

She looked at me with her shining teal eyes, smiled, and said, "Alright. See you tomorrow, Sassy Boy."

She wasn't even transformed, and yet her powers seemed to be crushing me.

I didn't know why, but in didn't have time to contemplate it. I needed to figure out how to tell everyone about my past life and what I had done to my family.

I took one last look at Skye's eyes, and I only thought one thing as she turned away.

My rebellious little Eva.
