The struggle

When we last left off Ruby had used her key to open a door of great mystery. Where did this door lead ?

Ruby is blinded by a bright light she steps forward and is sucked in through the door infront of her. She closes her eyes. Once open she notices it is very hot. Leaning forward she looks to see where she has landed. All she can see is rocks cliffs and a giant molten red river of what looks like lava. She leans back to step away from the ledge trying to find a place to go she tries to climb up but the rock is so hot her hands and arms are burned she falls and hits her back that as well burnes. She backs away as far as she can and the ground is hot but not to the point of burning. she sits and begins to cry not sure what to do. She has not trained and is unsure she can safely use her gift. She is unsure She will ever want this gift she has choosen. Whats to stop me from teleporting to the moon and dying from lack of oxygen? As she cries she feels as though Lana is near by for a second she is feeling relief she tries to get up to see if there is a escape. She feels a jolt of shock then falls backward and burnes her back worse. She sits and cries more. Trying not to cry she tries to focus on anything else she looks up and can see the most beautiful night sky she tries to use this as a distraction. All of a sudden she Hears a master studsnt her name is Nema. She tells her to hold on and keep fighting that they are on there way to rescue her. She startes to fade in and out of consciousness for the next day and wonders if she will survive. Between the pain and dehydration. She is struggling to even breathe at this point. Two master students arrive worried for Ruby they lift her up with a cloud and they begin home. Ruby hears a whisper and starts to try and talk a master student named Rynn assures her. Then begins to heal her. You have been through quiet the journey rest we will notify Queen Vera of your rescue and we should be back to the castle by night fall. As the day went on Ruby still feels weak but tries to make conversation. Again the master students tell her to rest we will be to the castle in no time. They arrive to the castle all the students are crowded around Ruby to see her as she comes through the door. Ruby is now in the infirmary and is resting Queen vera comes to check on her progress. After an update from the nurse she lets Ruby know she is going to make a full recovery. Just needs to rest and rehydrate for the next few days. As Queen Vera is about to leave Ruby says Queen Vera I want to dropout in the running for master student. I am to scared to use this gift. Queen Vera says I understand you are more than welcome to try again next season. Ruby seems to be relieved by this news but also uncertain of if she will try again next season. The Queen pulls out her golden gloves and a transparent bag that shimeres in the light. With her gloved hand she grabs the key necklace and light separates from ruby to the necklace. She then places the key in her bag. Goodnight my child may you feel rejuvenate soon.
