Training

Queen Vera awakens from her slumber looking around for a source to the loud sound she just heard. She looks down and up straight forward and behind her. She does not spot anything out of the ordinary.

If it were serious, one of the disciples would come to notify her. She lays back down on the cool silky sheets where she drifts off to a deep sleep. In her dream she sees a beach where there are people

Dancing during a full moon. It is so beautiful she can see every star in the sky. She begins to walk to the big fire when she hears a loud scream in the background when she turns around, she sees everyone is no longer having fun but instead running in the opposite direction. I look up to see what is going on. There is a huge dragon-like beast that is red with reflective eyes. Queen Vera wakes to an anxious feeling in her chest. Soon she gathers a group of trusted disciples who have mastered their gifts. She tells them of her dream and where she thinks this may be. We have 2 days till the full moon prepares yourselves tomorrow you leave to fight and protect our citizens. After enjoying a yummy breakfast with fresh fruits and yogurt she heads to the training floor to teach the new disciples in training. To her surprise they are all there on time ready to learn. Please Elijah, Lana, and Emma tell me what you have learned so far. Elijah states he is getting much better at controlling his Xray vision and can read very faster than he ever thought possible. Lana states I have had another vision about this horrible creature attacking people on the beach. This only confirms what queen Vera has just dreamed herself. Have no fear child I have already set plans to take care of this beast. Your main goal now is to train and grow stronger for the future test in store for you and your classmates. Emma mentions that she awoke early today because she wanted to try the meditation room to see if it helps. Emma smiles. I feel so much more focused and rested for the day. That is great you should try to get some meditation each day and that goes for all of you. It will help you all learn how to be in touch with your spiritual energy. Now I want you all to try and get this ball into that basket but using your ability. It will most likely take a few tries. Lana wants to go first but has no idea how to use her gift to get it to the basket. Queen Vera sends her to the dark room because she knows that for psychic energy to build to that level, she will need lots of practice focusing her spiritual energies. Elijah is excited to give this a try. He focuses on the ball. You can see a blue light come from his eyes. The ball gets a small push and is moved forward 1 inch. Queen Vera states that is a good try now let us give Emma a chance to try.  Emma walks up to calmly maybe a little anxious she raises her hand palm up and slowly you can see a mini tornado of wind fly straight to the ball the ball flies everywhere bouncing of off Elijah's head and Queen Vera is able to catch the ball. That was a great try. Soon you will be able to control that much better. After several more attempts and several bonks on the head by the ball both Emma and Elijah have mastered getting the ball into the basket. Queen Vera says give me a second to retrieve your classmate and tells me she is ready. Lana returns looking a little more confident than before her departure. She walks and just stares at the ball for a second her trainees question what she is doing but soon the ball lifts from the ground and lands in the basket.

Amazing Lana that was an amazing job.  Now Lana being you have completed your meditation for the day you are free to do as you please till tomorrow morning. Emma and Elijah are not too happy but only have to do an hour of meditation then they too can do as they please till morning. In the dark room Emma and Elijah try to focus Emma says Elijah try to focus on me and tell me where I am, and I will move Using my ability. He laughs and says sure could be fun, they do this for several minutes laughing seemingly having fun. Soon Emma sits down and says okay I am getting tired and they both rest for a minute. Elijah says I can tell your gift takes a lot of energy. How do you feel about the gift you have received? Emma looks up in surprise I am so grateful to be one of the few chosen to be bestowed a gift. It's so amazing all the things I can do now. I look forward to fighting for the queen. My village was attacked when I was a child and if not for the bestowed, I would have lost my whole family. So, what if I am tired, it is totally worth it. Elijah blushed a bit in embarrassment but just said good I am glad your family was able to be saved. I lost my father to an attack, so I know how important the bestowed upon are to our people. Queen Vera knocks on the dark room We think only to be polite she is the queen and does not need permission to enter a room. She states you can go eat dinner. We laugh at the same time because we both know we stayed in here way longer than an hour and we lost track of time. We both head to the dining room and no one is there. How strange we look at the clock. It's 10:00pm wow we must have been so distracted we both sit down to two plates that we assume are ours because they are steaming hot. Eating dinner Emma and Elijah just talk about their lives before this and how different things are at the castle. We both yawn at the same time and laugh and guess we should go to bed goodnight. I'll see you in the morning friend. We both smile at the thought that we are now friends.
