The Plan by Seth

***ARTEMIS***

We all took a seat in the living room. Kai and Blake bought snacks in the nearby convenience store and it became our food that afternoon. The two seemed a little shaken as they returned though.

"What happened to you two?" I asked.

"A few high school girls recognized us." answered Kai and released a big sigh.

"We had to take a detour. Thankfully, we were able to lose them." Blake added looking a little winded as well.

"I see. By the way, are you sure you're going to eat that?" I asked worriedly. I pointed at the food they just bought. "Shouldn't you guys be in a diet? Cola and junk food are too much you know?"

"Don't worry Artemis-noona." Seth answered and gave me a reassuring smile. "Ever since we received our powers, our metabolism had become very high. Eating any kind of food will no longer be an issue for us as long as we exercise a little. Also, it seems like our appetite had also grown since then."

"Probably because you have your powers. You do need energy to use them. To replenish it you have to either consume a lot of food or get a lot of sleep. Oh well, as long as you're sure."

Kyle entered the living room carrying a few boxes of pizza.

"Alberto's Pizza's cheese pizza!" he exclaimed. "It's mine and Artemis' favorite. I bought some on my way."

"Thank you big brother." I said as I took a slice and ate it.

Kyle took a little detour and came later than us because he had to arrange for our fake passports and IDs. We arrived in Cebu via Kai's teleportation ability. Of course, I had to lend him extra energy so he could transport everyone in one go. But since he had only been to Cebu City before, we had to endure the five-hour long drive to San Remigio which was way up in northern Cebu. Well, we did not go through proper procedure, so Kyle had to go through all the trouble for it.

Plus, we needed identities we could use for the auction which was a week away. We had to do a lot of preparation.

"Let's start this then." Kyle sat on the floor. "Seth?"

"Yes."

Seth opened his laptop and we listened.

"I checked the site again. The location of the auction is in Bogo City which is a few kilometers away from here. As for the exact place, nothing had been posted yet." he said. "By the way noona, why are we living so far away from there?"

"I agree with Seth." Xander seconded. "Wouldn't it be better to have the hideout within Bogo Coty?"

"Xander-oppa." I called. "Bogo City is more akin to a countryside town since the city area is mostly consisted of plains and mountains. Now Metro Bogo itself has a small area. Whether its dormitories or hotels, not one can cater our number and be undisturbed."

"Artemis is right." Kyle voiced out. "And we can't rent a house in there or book a hotel, people will recognize us. That's not gonna work since we're supposed to leave no trace."

"And San Remigio is a better choice?" Seth inquired.

"Well, I own a house here and it's a little far from crowded places, Nobody will suspect when they try to trace us in the future."

Kyle nodded at my statement.

"Fine." Seth said, defeated. "Let me continue then. They will announce the specific location in two days' time. We will have to wait before we can do further investigations and planning."

"Okay. I suppose we can't really rush that one. How about we check who's invited? We'll have to know that one as well."

"I'm working on it noona. Wait, damn!" Seth suddenly exclaimed. We asked him what was wrong. "They just changed the date of the auction."

""What? When?""

"They changed it to next week, Monday."

"Damn it!" Kai cursed which earned him a glare from Xander. "Sorry hyung."

The full moon is on Friday next week." Kyle said. "After we get the codex, we'll have to head back to China immediately."

"Agreed." I replied. "Seth, focus on finding the people who are invited so we can start making a plan already."

"Got it."

"What about us?" Blake asked.

"Why don't you guys go out and have fun?" I suggested.

"Noona, we're not that selfish, you know." Kai answered. "Tim and Dean are in danger we can't just have fun in this situation."

"Kai's got a point." Blake seconded. "And besides, we're a global sensation. We're famous K-pop idols and if we go out in public right now, people will recognize us."

Kai and Xander nodded, showing their agreement to Blake's statement.

"Fine. Head to the basement then. You'll find something interesting. I hope all three of you can swim."

They were a little confused but they agreed and rushed to the door that headed to the basement. I returned my attention to Seth and Kai who were both busy with their laptops.

"Sorry you can't have fun maknae." I said to Seth feeling a little guilty.

"It's okay noona. Saving Tim and dean is more important than having fun."

I smiled. "I have to say, you're not as selfish as the public makes you. A brat, well I can't disagree with that."

"Haha. Very funny."

"You always empty out Seven's wallet." Kyle snickered.

"It's fine. He's rich."

"Can't argue with that." I replied.

"Noona, you're richer."

"Just focus on what you're doing."

"Okay. Bu the way, what's on the basement?" he asked.

"Why don't you try to find out?" he looked confused at my statement. "Use the wind."

Seth formed a small tornado on his hand and sent it to the basement's direction, leaving a gentle breeze behind. According to Liu Fen, who supervised the training of Guardians, Seth could use his wind powers to check a place. He could make out an area's structure or general make-up using that technique.

A few seconds later, Seth let out a smile. "There's a swimming pool, no, a cove, connecting to the sea."

"Yeah. Amazing right? You can have fun later after we finish this."

"Okay!"

I tried hacking Bogo City's mainframe (shh, don't tell anyone. Hacking is a crime) so I could access the CCTVs spread throughout the city. Meanwhile, my brother and Seth continued their work on the auction site.

A few hours later…

"Got it!" Seth exclaimed on his seat.

""What?""

"We don't have to worry about sneaking in." I asked for clarification. "Noona, you're invited! You are Huntress, right?"

He showed me the list and it was true, my pseudonym was there; Huntress – Sceptre (Affiliation).

"That's good then. And I apparently have a plus two."

"Which means?"

"I can bring two people with me during the auction."

"They're also inviting specialists to verify the antiques that will be auctioned. The Zhang Family's one of them." Kyle informed us.

"Bust, isn't Lei-hyung and Chen-hyung in China right now?" Seth questioned. "I don't think Lei-hyung's dad would come himself. Bai's out of the count as well since he's still a student."

"Who said anything about Lei or Chen? Or even Uncle Wu Fen and Bai?" I smirked. "Besides, we need our own people inside. Kyle, give Uncle Wu Fen a call and tell him we'll be using the Zhang Family name. You know what to do right?"

"Leave it to me sis."

"Seth."

"Yes noona?"

"You come up with the plan."

"Excuse me? Me? As in me, me?" he looked very shocked and very confused, but I just patted his head.

The remaining three members of our gathering were shocked and speechless. Although they did not do much in terms of coming up with the plan or researching, they did make up for it by being our hired muscles and food runner. Xander was a good cook as well, so food really was no problem.

Two days had already passed and the location of the auction was finally revealed and it was finally time to discuss whatever plan we had on hand. As for the reason Xander, Blake and Kai were shocked…

"Seth came up with the plan?" Blake asked. His eyes as wide as he could. "As in Seth? Our maknae Seth Han?"

"Yeah, got a problem with that?" Seth retorted with his expression in between anger and disappointment.

"Are you sure about that?" Xander questioned.

I couldn't help but be worried. The older members of Guardians really did not trust Seth on a lot of things. Well, he was the youngest and he was usually in-charge of being silly and cuteness in the group, so it was kind of expected. But Seth was a hacker, his talents in making plans and strategy was impressive on its own.

"Guys, the plan Seth came up with is actually pretty decent." I said, defending Seth who was already sulking on his seat. "I think you should hear it out."

"Look, I may be stupid at times, but I'm not completely helpless, okay?"

"Let's hear the plan then." Kai gave Seth an enthusiastic smile.

"Thanks Kai. Okay, so Artemis-noona is invited to the auction and she can bring two people with her." I nodded at his words. "Her companions will be Blake and Xander."

"What?" – Blake.

"I beg your pardon?" – Xander.

"Well, Blake-hyung's personality and acting skills are actually helpful for this one. Plus Xander-hyung's maturity is also a helpful asset."

I gave a nod again then added; "Think of this like an acting workshop. You'll have to act sooner or later anyway. This will be good training."

I watched Blake and Xander with their jaws ready to fall to the floor. Figuratively speaking.
