I sighed in disbelief as Artemis tried to remember when she killed the boss of the group in front of us.

'How can she remain nonchalant in this situation?' I thought.

The people in front of us suddenly started screaming using the local dialect of the province.

"What are they saying?" Artemis asked.

"They said they're going to avenge their third boss."

"Somebody probably tipped them off." I said. "And I have a feeling its Mister Li."

She clicked her tongue and immediately got into a defensive stance.

They started charging at us and Artemis and I had no other choice but to defend ourselves. The most dangerous ones were those who had guns, but I noticed that they weren't firing at us that much.

'Is it because they might end up shooting their comrades?' I wondered.
