Liu Qing smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck. Obviously nervous and guilty for something.

"How did you even know about it?" I asked suspiciously.

"The novel was published during the 16th century and they claimed it to be based upon the Buddhist Monk Xuanzang who existed during the Tang Dynasty." I gave him a look that said 'I know that'. "Well, I know the Chinese supernatural and those guys exist, but they aren't really known."

"How did you know about… those?" I asked again.

I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "I thought people from the future can't spill information about the future to people from the past?"

I only huffed nervously at his answer and put aside the topic. Not like I could do anything about it anyway. And besides, we had more pressing matters to discuss.
