All eyes landed on Bagwis, all with surprise in them, especially Marilag. From what I had noticed ever since meeting them, Bagwis was Marilag's personal bodyguard and was very close to her. I thought they were sort of friends or something, no, I think they were cousins. So of course, it was her that objected his decision, but he already made up his mind apparently.

"Your highness, the only other person your spy knows from our side is me. He won't just help Artemis and Liu Qing outright if they popped up in dalaketnon territory. I have to be with them in this mission. I hope you understand."
