After hearing Shen Yu's report about the weapon and the poison, I left it to him to study the poison more and compare it to the water samples we brought back from the villages. He asked for Hauria and Seven's assistance for it. Well, Hauria could contact Li Er, and that guy knew a lot about herbs.

"You know, Royal Consort Shen is also quite knowledgeable about herbs and poisons." Yan Fei said as we headed to the city center. "Maybe we can ask her for advice."

"I don't think that's a good idea." I replied. "I don't want to bother my mother."

It wasn't my only reason. First of all, she knew I wasn't really her son, so I doubt she would help me. And second, it might get her into trouble with the other members of the imperial harem. I was just trying to be safe.

"I suppose. We already have Vice-commander Shen Yu and Sir Zhang to help us. We can only wait."
