"The second stage of the trial is to test your observation and deduction skills." said Greine's voice in the background.

I opened my eyes and saw myself in front of grand-looking building in white theme. It looked like one of those halls from wuxia dramas where sect gatherings were held or a throne room for a very powerful emperor. I looked down and saw I was wearing clothes that resembled those wuxia heroes in dramas. Even my hair was up in a manly bun with a jade hairpin on it.

"Wow." was my simple response at the sight of everything.

"The first one to ever challenge the first knight's power was a cultivator. He said he was part of the jianghu." I heard him scoff. "He praised himself too much and was even proud to be someone who secretly works for the emperor. In the end, he failed the second trial. You will be placed in that setting, I hope you won't be the same Lei."
