All of us were immediately in a defensive stance. Kyle walked closer to us which made us step back a bit. He threw the fake face to the ground and unsheathed his rapier, pointing it at us afterwards.

"I was planning to drag things out then kill the general swiftly, but you seriously messed it up."

"What is going on?" Tim asked us, sporting a very confused look.

I immediately gave him the short version of the situation. Thankfully, he was able to understand it without any further explanation.

"The ancient household of Hong?" Tim questioned and pointed at Kyle.

"Our Hong Family is no more, because of your father. Unfortunately, I can no longer take his life but I will take yours and your comrades'."
