'Well, here goes nothing.'

I pulled the ends of the bamboo container, using all my strength in doing so. I even resorted to using a bit of magic to help me in opening the container because it was sealed tight. I suddenly heard a sound akin to glass breaking and I successfully pulled the cap off the bamboo container.

I turned it upside down and a golden scroll landed on my palm.

"The manual codex!" Mikadelfa exclaimed and immediately scrambled for the item on my hand.

The alien princess started examining the scroll and we could see her face light up as she read it.

"Why do you think Hauria hid the manual codex here?" I wondered out loud. "I mean, she could've put it in Liu Qing's tomb in Hainan with the orbs."
