Prologue

I grab as many of my things as I can from the scattered papers all over the table, I have to get out of here before they arrive. I take one last look at the pictures on my walls.

"Don´t worry I will get to you soon, does not matter what it takes." I whisper to the one closes to me and head for the stairs, but before I can climb the first step, I hear the door being knocked open. Shit.

"CHECK EVERY ROOM! SUBJECT 2107 WAS SAW ENTERING THIS ESTABLISHMENT." A female voice barks orders upstairs and I hear more steps rushing in.

I have a fucking number? Kind of flatter but it is not the time.

I walk slowly backwards trying to reach the small basement window. I push my bag in front of me and then I slide through. There is no one on this side but I can see the blinking blue and red lights, they have people on the police now apparently.

I crawl until I find the glass bottles I have hidden in the bushes. I rip a couple of pieces from my shirt and open the bottles. The smell of gasoline is strong as I push the fabric inside and blindly search inside my bag for the lighter.

I look around one more time before getting out of my hiding spot. I move against the walls away from the police lights until I reach the front of house.

I back up enough to have a view of the second floor bedroom window. The blinds shake which means they already reach it. I light the first bottle and aim before throw it with all of my strength.

The window shatters and glass rains down. The fire spreads fast and the screams are close to follow. I hear them either trying to stop the mess or get out of the way. I light the second bottle and throw it on the living room window as I start to run to where I came from.

I am about to light my last bottle to shove it inside the basement window, when someone grabs my wrist and pulls me back.

I look at back and see a man in a black suit, their emblem embroider on his chest. He grabs my hair with his other hand to get a better hold on me. My skull screams from the unnecessary force used. When he is satisfied with himself, he frees my wrist and presses his communication piece on his ear.

"I have the subject, unharmed like she required."
