"Finally, lunch time!" Adriel exclaimed with a goofy grin on his face. Raina rolled her eyes playfully making Yasmin laugh. "Your stomach is a black hole, I swear," Raina commented a playful smile formed on her face. Adriel narrowed his eyes at her and stuck his tongue out childishly. Raina stuck her tongue out, as well. She acted no better than him.

Yasmin sighed softly, feeling left out. She doesn't blame either of them, she just wished she could be as playful as them. Raina noticed her friend's sudden change of behavior. She let the boys lead the way while she walked behind them along with Yasmin. "Are you going to tell him?" Raina watched Yasmin's face turn red. She began to stutter, surprised at the random question. "U-uh, what?" Raina giggled then winked at her. "You really should tell him, you know." With that, she pulled Yasmin as they walked into the cafeteria hall.

Raina took advantage of the time the guys got in line to grab their food. Thankfully, she and Yasmin always brought lunch to save a table for all of them. "Okay, we don't have long," Yasmin choked on her water. She felt anxious as Raina interrogated her. Yasmin couldn't really blame her. She knew it was a long time coming.

"Every time I try, I end up chickening out," she sighed dejectedly. "I'm afraid it'll change our friendship dynamics," she said softly, worried what it could possibly ruin between him and her brother, Skylar. Raina furrowed her eyebrows feeling sad for her, "Yas, you shouldn't think that way."

"We've all known each other and grew up together," Raina began. "Have faith in your friendship." Yasmin nodded feeling a little bit better than before. "Besides, I'm sure Sky will kick his ass if he hurts you," Raina chuckled at the thought. "On second thought, it would really be funny to see that."

Yasmin nudged Raina's arm as the boys neared the table. "What's the goss ladies?" Adriel gushed as he sat his tray on the table. Then his eyes shifted towards Yasmin's lunch and was basically drooling over it. Yasmin giggled seeing his expression. "Would you like some?" She asked. Adriel hesitated feeling bad that he'd be taking her food away. She patted the chair next to her which he gladly sat in. "Are you sure, Yas?" He asked. Yasmin giggled and nodded her head. "I'll share mine if you share yours?" Adriel chuckled and nodded his head eagerly. "Hell yeah!"

Raina watched them carefully with an all knowing smile on her face. Happily, she brought her sandwich toward her mouth to take a bite. "Sky, will kill you for meddling," a tingling sensation shot through her spine as Niko whispered in her ear. "Niko!" Raina's head snapped toward his direction, realizing he was merely inches away from her face making her blush. Out of reflexed, she smacked his face. "Rude," Niko muttered rubbing the sting of the slap away. Raina gasped, her hand on her mouth to stop herself from laughing.

"I am so sorry," she said in between laughter. "You owe me," he muttered, sulking in his chair. To make amends, Raina slid a container with cheesecake in between them. "I'll let you have three small bites," she said with a giggle. A grin formed on his face. "Aww, Rainy Bear! You do love me," he gushed pulling her into a bear hug. Raina grunted, pushing him away. "Never mind! I take it back!"

Penny watched the interaction between Niko and Raina from a few tables down, her jealousy growing every time. She and Maisie walked up to the group with their trays with a smile on their faces. "Hey guys. Can we join?" Penny asked sweetly with a charming smile on her face. Maisie waved shyly, her eyes focused on Adriel. "Of course, you're more than welcome to join," Skylar said politely. Penny eyed the available seats which were only by Adriel or Skylar. It's too bad there wasn't any seats available next to Niko. Quickly strategizing her decision, she opted to sit by the Student Council President while giving Maisie an opportunity to sit by her crush. Maisie glanced at Penny with a grateful smile.

The rest of lunch went on with Niko and Raina messing with each other, Yasmin and Maisie blushing over Adriel, whom was completely oblivious, and Penny making small talk with Skylar, whom was not in the slightest bit interested but remained polite. So in summarization, it sucked—Penny thought.

The school bell rang one last time for the day—finally, the first day of school is over. The students poured into the hallways with excited chatters echoing through the building. Most is getting ready to check out club activities and some were eager to leave the school property. The Student Council members met up back in the office with excitement. "Oh man, I am so excited for the Senior trip! Can we please choose somewhere tropical? Please Sky!" Raina looked at Skylar with wide, doe-like eyes.

Skylar laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. "U-uh," his eyes quickly shifted towards one of the guys, silently asking for help. Niko simply stared at the helpless lad with a devilish smile on his face. Meanwhile, Adriel had joined in giving Skylar the puppy dog eyes. "Yeah, Sky. Can we please go somewhere tropical?" Skylar sighed suddenly exhausted all of the sudden. "I'll consider it. Is that an okay answer for now?" He asked, hoping they would drop it, at least for today. Raina and Adriel looked at each other with mischievous looks in their eyes, then back to Skylar with an innocent smile on their face. "Yep!" They said simultaneously.

A sudden chill shot through Skylar's spine. Why is he getting the feeling like these two were planning something? Niko enjoyed watching the President become uncomfortable by the second under the intense aura emitting from Adriel and Raina. Niko guessed it's probably best to save him from those two. However, he was stopped by one of the new girl, what's her name again? Posie…

"Hey Niko! Where did you want the Senior trip to be at?" She asked with a smile. He shrugged then walked around her toward Skylar. "Okay, children. Let big papa get back to work," Raina glared at him and continued to do so as she walked away with Adriel in tow with a goofy grin on his face. "Thanks Nik," Skylar whispered in relief. Niko's eyebrows moved up and down and a devilish grin formed on his face. "If it was in a tropical location, a ton of girls will be in their swimsuit," he whispered to Skylar's ears, embarrassing him. "Even Rae will be in a bikini," Skylar's eyes widened, choking on his own spit. His faced turned red with embarrassment looking at Niko.

"D-don't say stuff like that Nik!" Skylar said completely flustered. He's pretty sure his face is as red as a tomato right now.

Skylar scowled at Niko then punched his arm. "Deserved that," Niko said rubbing his arm. Skylar huffed then turned away, trying to gather his thoughts before starting the meeting.

"Alright, we are finished here. You are all free to go," Skylar waved goodbye to everyone and looked at Adriel and Niko. "Except you two. Try not to skip your practices please," he said with a hidden warning. They nodded obediently, knowing well how scary Skylar can be when angry. "Girls, what are you going to do during practice?" He asked. Rae shrugged her shoulders and looked at Yasmin. "No plans today. We can just watch you practice brother, then we can grab our annual milkshakes after," Skylar nodded with a smile. "Alright then. That's what we'll do."

"Finally, I can take this tie and jacket off now that school is done," Raina stretched her arms above her head. Then slipped her jacket off and loosened the tie around her neck. Skylar averted his eyes and blushed. "Ooh, a strip tease eh?" Niko appeared with a smirk on his face. Raina scowled and threw her jacket at his face. "Never for you!" She snapped back. He held the jacket and looked at her with a sly smile. "We'll see," he said laughing.

"For now, I'll hold on to this," Raina gasped. "I need that for tomorrow doofus!" Niko ran out of the classroom with Raina hot on his heels.

Yasmin laughed. She always found those two bickering, endearing. "Are you coming to watch me practice, Yas?" Adriel asked with a warm smile on his face. Yasmin's face turned red. "Yes, Rae and I will be there," she said softly. Adriel beamed, completely oblivious to the feelings of the girl.

Raina met up with Yasmin at the football field. "Ugh, now I'm all disgusting and sweaty," she complained. "Did you get your jacket back?" Yasmin asked. Raina groaned, lazily lounging on the bleachers. "Nope. He disappeared into the boys locker room and I couldn't go in since the coach was watching," she muttered. Yasmin's eyes widened. "You were planning to go in after him?" Raina chuckled. "Yas, you know I would never let that jerk win!"
