Within hours, the Great White Snake Statue was in the gardens of the Sun Clan. In front of the statue, Wei Di closed his eyes and used the skill "Spiritual Beast connection". For a while, nothing happened but all of a sudden there was a weak trace of a tingling sensation. Wei Di opened his eyes and exclaimed, "I knew I was right! This is not a just a normal statue!"
Wei Di quickly sat down on the floor and used the beast connection again. This time his entire conscience entered into a different space. It was a foggy place with endless mountains that were barely visible. A shadow of a huge snake appeared. With a hiss, the entire fog disappeared. The snake body was pure shimmering white and it seemed to extend without an end in sight. With its deepest violet eyes, it stared at Wei Di
"Who are you human, how dare you trespass my realm?!?!" The snake hissed.
Wei Di replied "I have come to pay respects to the Goddess of the Mount Renmei, the savior of the eternal wall and the white maiden of the 12 heavenly demons "
Wei Di knew who the white snake slithering in front of him was. In the history of the borders, there were "57 disasters" that once caused catastrophic damage. Each of the disasters was caused by ungodly demonic beasts and the Great White Snake was the number 52th disaster known to mankind. She was part of the heavenly demon association, a demonic force that lies beyond the borders.
However, she fell in love with a human one day and turned for good. As a result, she left the demonic way, and to atone for her past mistakes, she saved numerous humans from beast attacks. But alas, the other demonic beasts deem that action as a betrayal and soon she was hunted by the other demonic beasts.
Her most infamous story was when she fought several disastrous level beasts aside from the humans and fending them off from the borders otherwise known as the eternal wall. However, legend has it that she perished during the fight. Ever since she became known as the savior of the eternal wall. Her past records of demonic beasts had been all destroyed as to honor her sacrificial act.
Wei Di could guess what happened to her. He deduced that during the fight at the eternal wall, she overexerted her limits and as a bid to save herself from the regression of her poison, she was forced to slip into her secret hibernation state. The human back then must have thought the Great white snake had perished already since there was no heartbeat left.
