Running

Today

The tension in the jeep was obvious especially with what had transpired a few minutes ago. This was by far the worst time to have anyone smiling and all. Everyone was with their own thoughts, trying to find a way to explain what had happened in the past year.

A lot had transpired and more than anything, they had lost so many people. Their family was literally divided into halves and that was something they would have to deal with for the rest of their lives. Clearly, nothing would be the same anymore. Nothing would ever be the same.

After what felt like hours, they had finally reached the hospital and boy were they so surprised. How did a hospital so small become so crowded in less than twenty-four hours? Maybe there was an event here, and there was nothing the team would do to stop it. After all, they were just the guys with a dead family member in the morgue.
