Recoveries & Fresh Starts

Four weeks, three days, and an hour.

That's how long it had been since Dylan's memorial, how long it had taken for the family to come close to getting over the loss of their loved one. It was not an easy task, but they were coping, they were finding their way around the life that had three empty spaces to be filled. While nothing was okay, and would never be, from the outside, everything seemed fine.

The Garners were all going back to their normal lives. Having aged a little, Garner, and Gauri had gone back to the country house. At first, their adamance to stay was obvious, but their children wouldn't let them. Lexi even promised to call them overtime just to check on them. While that was something any normal child would do with their parents, Alexandra Garner was different, and her parents knew that. She never called unless she was on the news for murder, which didn't happen so often.
