The room was suddenly silent when Jia got in. She had not even taken her time to look around and see who the hosts were. She was still removing her shoes and telling the nearest person to call Carlos. She wanted to see the brother who had lied to her that they would be going snowballing. She wanted to smack him and make him pay.

Every other person in the room didn't know what to do. They were looking at each other in silence and waiting to see if the woman bent was who they really thought she was or this was just another mistake, right?

Surely the universe wouldn't be that mischievous to bring all the siblings together at the most inopportune time. But maybe this was a good thing for them. Maybe they would be able to woks out their issues today or rather tonight, considering they had been here the whole day.
