The morning was something that the siblings had looked forward to since the previous night.

The anticipation of whatever would happen during the day had kept quite a number of them sleepless, with Lia being the only one who could get enough sleep. Well, that was after the doctor had forced a sleep-induced injection on her.

Otherwise, she would just be as rattled as the rest of her siblings today.

When Carlos had made the call to Jia yesterday, everyone expected her to decline, considering she had literally been forced out of the house without even taking a second glance at her wounded sister on the darn bed. But then, as always, nothing that was ever expected did happen with the siblings.

They all wanted to know what it was that prompted Amelia to call for her sister. Or maybe this was just another game for them. For a moment, they all felt bad for Jia, but then Damien had always promised he would keep their family together and sane.
