When they received the signals, Lexi, jill, Ryan, and Carlos were quick to respond, questioning mia as to whether she was already back in the country. they expected her to be back, but she was back way too soon.

her medical mission this time was supposed to be on for another month. so why was mia back in the country? was something wrong with Lexi? was there something they needed to know that they were oblivious about?

they were connected to each other via a special interface that alexander had been using before he supposedly died in the explosion. it was untraceable and very private. no one could access it even if they wanted to. that was the only thing that had kept them connected through the month they had stayed apart.
