Chapter Six Training and Memories

"How do we begin this?" I asked. "You're too peculiar about this" the voice said "First, you should get rid of that questioning" in a sort of funny way. "Curiosity, can sometime lead to negative thoughts" the Voice continued "Your powers, they can make it possible" leading me to the training field. Everything looked the same to me. "Why is everything so white?" I asked "It'll provoke hallucinations" I said and began to get some. The voice laughed, saying "You see, it all lies in your thoughts" as I stood abashed. "Let's start this" It said "Try getting this into the real world" and I said "You mean something like streets" seeing around. "Try starting with it" the voice stated. "Can I do it?" I questioned myself. "I said to take rid of negative thoughts" the voice said. I stressed to focus and thought of a street with people in it and VOILA! It's amazing how true it all became. "It kinda feels like Inception" I said. "It may, but its deception" the voice stated. For the following few days I practiced the similar things and after the fifth day I could create a whole city. It truly felt like Inception. The next few days I came to know some tricks from the voice, some of the best ones. It was only after fifteen days, the real training started, which had no connection with powers, it was wholly physical. I had to fight people with tactics, dodging, counter attacks and everything. Slowly it felt like I was in a video-game tutorial. The day came when I had to give this entire white place. "Jake" the voice said "What if you had a chance to run into the people you loved most.

"I… I didn't understand, " I said. I turned back around. I was in my grandma's home. Even my parents were there. "Look at it as a parting gift Jake" the voice said. I opened the door and I was little three year old tyke. It would be so delightful, becoming a child and enjoying my best part of life. I walked to the kitchen like a little toddler. I wanted to cry out in happiness. Many things are stirring up in my head, however, I speak like a little toddler who knows nothing except the love of their family. "Happy birthday Jake!" shouted everyone, and I was startled but laughed seeing everyone. My mom grabbed my hands and walked me to the living room. My daddy was waiting in the living room with a big teddy-bear. Instead of racing towards the teddy, I ran to my father.

"He loves you, Doug" my momma said. On hearing that, I got out my mom towards me. I knew they were laughing at me. And so they took me to cut the cake, of course I couldn't cut it. Followed by that, we went outside and my grandpa was doing barbeque. "Hey dad" shouted someone. I naturally turned around to see who it was. It was Sarah. "Look, Jake" my mom said "Sarah is here" walking to her. "Hey, champ" Sarah said "made a little gift for you" and showed me a small toy, one which could fit in your pocket. "Thanks, Sarah" I said, but like a yearling. Everyone who heard it had only one word coming up "Aww!" and then we got inside. Grandpa and grandma were sitting outside. I walked to them. I held a memorable time with them. The whole universe started to turn white. "Soon, Jake" my grandma said "We will be together" as she faded away. I had a great opportunity of my lifetime, having time with my family. "Remember Jake," the voice said "He who wields the sphere must be finished before the sacrifice" and sent me back to the real world.

I woke up finding everyone tensed. "Thank god!" said Sam, "You're alive" smiling at me. "What happened?" everyone looked so tensed" I asked. "The order found us" Lucas said "They are coming for us" running round. "Where are we?" I asked. "Really" Sarah said "We are in New York and in a few minutes we will be on our way to die" raising her voice. The footsteps were loud enough for me to pick up. It was like an army heading for us. "Everyone stays calm" I stated. "Have you lost your head while you were in coma?" Jessica asked, picking up some tools near me. The men began to climb down. Everyone felt like they were pinned. "Guys love your burger" I said. "What?" everyone shouted, looking at me and they found themselves at Burger King. "How?" everyone shouted. "Stay calm, eat your burger and then worry about the rest" I stated. They were in a Deception, while I fed the men another one. They never caught us and searched for a while and left.

Everyone wound up their burgers and came back to the safe house. "Let's move out and get the sphere, " I said. Everyone was still in a daze. "Guys, I was coached when I was in a coma" I said. "But you were gone for, like, three days" Sam stated. "That was a month for me, " I supposed. Everyone still seemed unsatisfied. "It was a long, sweet story, " I said.
