Sharing Is Caring

I heard new pairs of footsteps approach Nathaniel's bedroom. I quieted down my heavy breathing, terrified of being heard by even more giants.

"Ha no way! Casey is way hotter!"

I hadn't heard that voice before, so it must've been one of Nathaniel's friends.

"No I'm telling you! Hannah is the way to go! Have you seen her boobs?" said another voice.

I rolled my eyes. The three of them kept talking about stuff that I couldn't care less about. I was beyond bored just lying against the glass, when I heard one of them mention that they needed something in the closet. No no no no no no! Nathaniel would stop them, right?

"Oh hey don't go-!" I heard Nathaniel say.

Another giant hand rummaged around in the closet until it settled on my jar. It paused in confusion until it brought my jar up to its face. I was met with another giant boy. He had white skin with a slight tan, unkept blond hair and blue eyes. He looked like a Chad. He stared at me with confusion while Nathaniel's other friend joined us.

He was much taller than Nathaniel and the Chad looking guy. He was Asian (well he looked like it, not sure if he actually came from Asia considering that he was... well a giant) with a military style haircut and black eyes.

"Dude... why do you have a human?!" said the Chad looking guy.

"I just found her in the forest today," responded Nathaniel, who looked warily between is friends and me.

"But why was she in your closet?" asked the other one.

"I didn't want you guys to scare her. I think I spooked her enough today," he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Oh yeah, I sure felt spooked! I shot him a quick glare, but quickly looked away. I need to control myself around them, they could kill me so easily.

"Don't tell me you teased her!" said the same giant.

"You guys would've done the same," said Nathaniel as he did his signature smirk.

All 3 of them laughed. Nathaniel approached his friends and they all stared at me. I backed up until my back hit the back of the glass jar. I desperately wanted to say or do something, but I just couldn't. Out of all the most terrifying and embarrassing things that could happen, it just had to be this.

The Chad looking guy reached his hand in and tried to grab me, but I dodged. He tried again, but on his third attempt he finally caught me. I glared at him. He looked at both his friends before looking back at me and laughed. WHY was I so amusing to them!

"Oh my gods I love this one! She's so cute and small, boop,"

Oh heck no, he did not just boop me! My anger took over again.

"Who the heck do you think you are?" I screeched, trying to squirm out of his hand.

"I thought humans were quieter,"

"She stays quiet, until you get her mad. Mainly just insulting her kind, and I guess booping her too," said Nathan as he smirked down at me.

"Can I hold her?" asked the other one.

The Chad looking guy placed me in the palm of his friend. Once I was on, he also held me in a fist.

"Does she have a name?" he asked Nathaniel.

"Yes she does!" I yelled. He looked back at me, clearly amused. "It's Émelie, and I'm glad you asked," I said, finally able to fake confidence.

"I'm Aiden, and this is Chad," said Aiden.

Well would you look at that, he was a Chad.

"Who gets to keep her?" asked Chad.

"EXCUSE ME?! Keep me?! I'm not a pet! Bring me ba-" I was cut off by Chad.

"Shut up!" he yelled as he glared at me. I clamped my mouth shut.

"Well I found her," declared Nathaniel.

"Yeah, but I'm your best pal. Surely I deserve a little gift," said Chad, winking. I already hated him even more than Nathaniel.

"How about we share her? We can alternate by day, so she gets a bit used to us. Then we can decide from there," suggested Aiden.

They all nodded in agreement. Terrific. They all wanted me for some reason, and I couldn't do anything about it. Just terrific.

"I call first dibs!" said Aiden as he got up. "See you guys later,"

He made his way downstairs and kept me out of sight from Nathaniel's mom. Once we were in the clear, Aiden brought me up closer to his face.

"What do you feel like doing? I don't really know what would entertain a human."

"Well here's a fun fact: humans aren't pets! From what I've seen so far, we're literally just like you!! Well... I guess just smaller," I finished lamely.

Aiden looked at me, visibly entertained.

"Alright then, I think I have an idea."
