Epilogue: The Unseen Horrors.

At the province of Hitachi, known in the entirety of this alternate world's Japan as the cultural capital of the country, a musical performance is being held at a closed auditorium attended by a myriad of aristocrats and wealthy merchants who can afford the exorbitant entrance fee for a 2-hour long musical performance.

"This is pretty ridiculous… I know that you composed some of the pieces that they are playing, but your biases are leaking from every notes."

"Oh please. This is the nearest thing that I can do to relive my memories of playing my favorite video games. And this is also a good way for us to conclude our honeymoon trip, Amanogawa Chiasa-san~."

"H-hey… D-don't make my heart skip a beat just so you can wiggle your way out of my annoyance. For cripe's sake… You could've just married me at Yamato and made me forget about that darned Higuchi family name."

At the VIP seats of the private viewing balcony were the Shogun, Amanogawa Sora, and his wife, Amanogawa Chiasa. Their adoptive child, Amanogawa Kichi, was also there but is sleeping on her seat.

The pieces being played were a mix of well-known video game themes in the modern world brought here by the man who missed them. The orchestra was also a mixed bunch, composed of traditional Japanese instruments and some western instruments such as a piano, violins, cellos, flutes and trumpets.

The orchestra played pieces well-known to the two attending Otherworlders but unknown to the people of this world who, for the past hour already, has been holding their breaths, gasping in surprise and tearing up with joy as every piece played by the musicians painted a world in their minds which might be accurate or inaccurate to what they were intended to portray in the games they came from.

"I miss my computer… I still remember the days when I will lead a group of strangers through a team game and after we won, we will talk about anything that comes to mind and would exchange friend requests to meet and team up again at a later date."

"Hmph! That was the time when the few day-offs that you have gets spent on playing videogames while I just frown at the sofa behind you…"

Puffing her cheeks while saying her complaint, Chiasa looked away as if she didn't want to talk to him.

"Oh please, cut me some slack… Let me play my games at day since you always drain me when the moon is out. And now that we're married, you'd probably do it again, you greedy little girl…"

"O-oi! Shut it! And stop doing that, someone might-"

"Oh dear, this is a private balcony… No one will see whatever we do here."

Because she turned her back on him, Chiasa didn't see her husband wrap his arms around her waist before whispering those words to her ears and biting them lightly.

"S-Sora… we can do this later, so-"

"That's not fair, Chia-chan… You were complaining about my lack of affection and when I give it, you don't want it?"

Sora continued to embrace his wife while whispering to her ear burrowing his face on her shoulder as the woman's face turned beet red and she began to shiver lightly from a mixed feeling of joy and nervousness.

"Mm… Uwaaahhh… Huh?"

"Did we wake you up, Kichi-chan?"

The sensual cuddling of the two would have escalated further if not for their adopted daughter waking up from her nap which made the Shogun to place his face next to his still blushed faced wife and acting like nothing weird happened just a few seconds ago.

"N-no… I'm sorry I dozed off, Mister Shogun…"

"It's alright sweetie. The piece when you began to nap was relaxing after all and we just came from our overnight trip from Haguro, so I don't blame you for wanting to have a power nap."

"Mm! Wait… why does Chia-san look like she's also tired?"

The child turned to the woman beside Sora and noticed that she was panting heavily while her face looked like a ripe apple.

"T-this is nothing, sweetie. I was dreaming that a big, greedy wolf was chasing me in my dream."

"Mmm… That's mean, Chiasa. Why do you always like to hurt my feelings?"

"You shut up for a minute."

After slightly alluding to her husband's recent "cuddling" through a harsh allegory, Chiasa plopped the child on her lap before running her fingers through her hair to comb it in place.

"Are you liking the music, sweetie?"

"Mm! I don't understand it, but it's fun!"

""Ehehe… so cute, so cute…""

Sora and Chiasa commented after her childish reply and as the orchestra picked up the crescendo and the audience below their special balcony seat held their breath for the chorus, the door behind them opened and an aide passed a letter to Sora who opened it and read it.

"…They've started."

"I see. Good thing, we left before all hell broke loose."

The letter came from their men who evacuated the areas ordered by Sora to be cleared as soon as the siege of the Nachi clan started.

[To His Majesty, Amanogawa Sora-sama: All designated civilians have been evacuated from the city and prepared to be sent to their new homeland at Matsuri province. Another news from our spies in Inaba city, the disease sent forth by Lady Chiasa has spread and will soon turn the province into a wasteland.]

To the people that serve and believe in them, Amanogawa Sora and Chiasa are people who deserve to be praised for their efforts and words that brought great things to them.

But for those who go against them…

"What will you do now that I am putting an insurmountable barrier between us, Iwasawa-kun?"

They are heartless monsters who doesn't value the life of those who go against them.
