Chapter 3 (part 1) - The Legend Of The Yin And Yang

I lay my head still on a tan desk with hatred words written upon it. my pail arms cross eachother so my head head can fit perfectly in the middle. My head lay face to face with the hatred words written upon the desk. My hair as white as pure snow sit there glistening off the morning sunrise. The desk lay out in perfect rows of five in the front, while six lay behind each of the five desk. Windows open to sway the curtains gently with the breeze, while sunlight slowly seeps it's way into the classroom. I listen closely to the teacher as he reads a story from long ago.

"Long ago in the Palace of Humero. A heir to the throne and a samurai who was mistaken as a guy and almost sentenced to death are soon to be wedded. They will become the next Emperor and Empress of the land. But little did they know that either a miracle or disaster will fall upon them.

At last they were wedded and became the Emperor and Empress of the land. Ten years have passed and they were worried about who would take over the palace once they had passed. In order to do this they had to make an heir to the throne. Making an heir to the throne was quite a horrible problem, for only a male could succeed the throne. The two lovers gave birth to a baby girl, but shortly after her arrival she passed away. They were both heart broken at the discovery, but they didn't give up. They tried again and again, but the baby's all died within a matter of seconds.

Finally the Emperor and Empress had enough of this devistsing travesty. They left the palace for days on end and would leave it the hand of the Emperor's brother and wife, who were kind hearted people. Even though the oldest is supposed to take over the throne. The Emperor's brother was too kind hearted for his own good. Therefore the late Emperor said that the youngest son would take over the Empire.

The two would journey far and wide to get the answers to why they were befallen this tragic misfortune. Every time they would hear people speak of the twin souls who had hidden themselves deep within the earth. They would also hear that one can grant life and fertility ,while the other grants death and misfortune. They figured they could ask the twin souls to help them because they were in need of an heir or any child. They were desperate and would do anything for the birth of a child.

Years have passed and the Emperor and Empress finally found out where the twin souls were located. As soon as they knew they left the palace immediately. In a rush they scurried across the land to find the place of the twin souls. They encountered many beasts and thieves along the way, but together they passed the trials and kept heading forward. A month had passed and they were losing hope of ever finding the twin souls. They soon ran out of food, and they knew they would surely die. The Emperor and Empress soon found themselves in an unknown place. They were within a small cave and apples at their side. With the strength they had they both ate an apple to try and replenish their hunger.
