This story moves through different time periods and the characters, story setting, and everything else changes from generation to generation. The first generation is just a prologue.

HEAVENS SLAYER

Homura was thrown towards the debris. In mid-air, Homura used his blessing to create fire propellers and slowed down his speed by opposing Tojo's blessing cores. During this he saw a spiky piece of metal raised up near the ground from the debris. He kept on gazing the nail while thinking to himself,

"T-this nail! Yes! I have a great idea to make a good use of this!"

Homura extracted the nail from the debris as he fell onto the ground. By using his propellers in a right manner, he was able to minimize the damage output. Amidst that, he stood up slowly and thought,

"Why am I going so far for her sake? Why am I doing so much to save a single life? Remembering now... I never hesitated even once while murdering those people... Then how... Why am I doing this? Ahh... I... Took those lives for a single life which was of her..."
